My First Week!
I have been a part of Wealthy Affiliate now for about a week and I feel overloaded with information. Now that is not a bad thing necessarily, however its been a slow start for me. It's been tough for me to find time to really commit to my website and learning due to my 5 month old baby boy that I stay home with. I am lucky to get an hour a day.
I have gotten the basic structure of my website down, baby teething products, which is good and now working on really getting some good content on the pages. My mind is so focused on getting some money that I am getting flustered with the whole process of building the content and getting to a profitable point.
I also am slightly confused as to how I will actually make money with this site as well, though I am sure it will come together more once I finish my certification courses and feel more settled in the process.
Hopefully sooner than later I can get a hang of all this. :)

Hey Jessica, welcome to WA and to Premium. I think most Members suffer information overload at the start, I know I certainly did. Just take it step-by-step. Patty's (@findingemo) provided you with a great link on the various ways you can consider monetising your site. Here's wishing you every success! :) Rich.
Hi and welcome to wealthy affiliate! I know what it's like trying to find time to work on your site, I too am a stay at home mom but my kids are a bit older (10, 8 and 4)....
It's completely normal to feel overwhelmed or experience information overload but if you stick to the lessons, as you've already said you're doing, you'll get along just fine.
Once your done with the course you can take a look at this blog too, it'll help you understand a few different ways you can monetize your site: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/6-ways-to-make-money-with-your-wordpress-blog
Good luck!
Patty :)

I feel for you - really I do. While my son is older - just turned 10 years, you are doing great. You have so much joy ahead! I have chosen my first niche as parenting because it's what I know (well kind of!). You're smart to do what you know. Keep on keeping - be kind to yourself and love every minute of baby's first year. I adored it! Power to moms.
Thank You! Each day I keep coming up with more niches that I could be doing just based on being a mom! Plenty of time for more but gotta stay focused on the one for now! :)
Best of luck to you too!
