Well, I'm a premium member on Wealthy Affiliate and this is my first ever blog post. I'm sure it won't be nearly as good as other people's blogs, but blogging will probably help me out in the long run. Maybe I should start with why I decided to join Wealthy Affiliate. The about me page at http://computersolutions.siterubix.com/about is more in-depth, but I will give the main reasons of why I joined here as well as how I found Wealthy Affiliate.

I have been working on computers for a long time. Learning, helping others, and even fixing them. I always wanted to do something computer-related with my life. Originally, I wanted to be a game developer. While I might do this as a hobby, I think my true calling is computer technical support. I mainly have done computer work for around my neighborhood. I have been wanting to join a business that does this kind of work, but jobs are scarce around here. Instead, I thought I would create my own business. One that I can take online to help people no matter where they are.

Confidence is something I naturally don't have when it comes to work. I never actually finished any of the games I worked on, normally getting bored with them. Computer repair, etc. is something I have always followed through with though. Probably because it doesn't take months to fix a computer, whereas a game it does. Anyways, I digress. A few years ago, I found a great website workathomenoscams.com that helps you find work online. The owner of the site, Eddy Salomon, helped me greatly to get my foot in the door online. He creates blog articles about different work at home opportunities and scams. When I was still new to the site, Eddy had a birthday celebration. He made a blog for his birthday. On it, he stated he was going to give away $300 to 3 lucky people. $100 each, who created a comment on that blog. The comment had to state how that site had helped you. I posted a comment, not expecting anything. My comment talked about how I haven't really earned anything from the site yet. To my surprise, I was one of the lucky 3 people to have won the $100. At the time, this was surprising. I decided to hold on to this $100. I wouldn't spend it until I knew what to spend it on.

A few years after I earned that $100, I checked back on the site. I looked around at a few new things about it. I decided to check out his #1 work at home recommendation. On it, he talked about how he created his website workathomenoscams.com through an online community called Wealthy Affiliate. Because of all the other things he had on there, I knew it would be legit. He's never steered me wrong so far. I decided to check it out. I went through the 1st course, talked with other people, and worked experimented inside of it. I knew that this was my chance. My opportunity to evolve my small hobby into an actual business. At the end of the 10th Lesson of the Getting Started Course, I went ahead and applied for Premium. Now, here I am, writing my very first blog. This is all thanks to Eddy.
