Hey, here is a training by WA member, Lenny How To Verify Google Search Console, Submit Sitemap and Fetch As Google There are more results in the top search bar just type ” Verify Google search console ”
Hope it helps
Thanks for the tips. I am finding that searching help in WA is just like searching Google, you have to ask in just the right way or you do not find what you are looking for.

I have opened my website on a second computer and not as administrator and when I hover over the images in my posts, the Alt text does not show. I cannot remember the training
If you want it to show on mouseover, you can add
title="the description of the image"
into the link. ie.
img alt="the description of the image" title="the description of the image" src="https://www.yoursitename.com/image.jpg"
Thanks for the information. I mostly was concerned because the training materials still say the Alt text will show on mouseover and that was not happening on my site. I have added this information to my notes so I will be able to find it when I need it.
Yup, recent browser updates since the training was made have changed the way it's shown, as Marion said, screenreaders now "see it" but no-one else does.
Images no longer show the alt text when you hover over them. The alt text appears for people who are using a text only browser or for people using accessibility programs (e.g. vision impaired).
I guess the training needs to be updated. I even found information outside of WA that indicated the Alt text should show when you hover over the image. Thanks for your reply.
