Slow but sure progress
I am finally reaching the end of course two. To me it seems like it has taken forever but I do have a site up and running and have five posts on that site. Joining Google+ is a big step for me as I am not a big fan of social media. I chose to build my site around clocks as clocks of different types have always fascinated me. I have a small collection of clocks in my home and writing posts for my site has allowed me to learn more about my clock collection than I had done in all the years I have owned some of the clocks.
I see that the next course begins to address the issue of making money with your site. This is the reason I have always wanted a successful website. My wife and I had a site selling bedding but never achieved much success with that site because we were with a different group of mentors. That group provided a lot of videos to watch but not a lot of practical support as we tried to develop our site. We have the feeling that support is something we will never lack within WA.
Writing content has been the biggest challenge for me. I have the impression that a lot of WA members generate posts with ease and regularity. Determining subjects for my posts is a large part of the reason I felt like it took forever to get through course two.
Getting more comfortable with creating unique posts that will make our site a place people want to visit is the biggest goal we have. Attracting visitors will allow us an opportunity to then try and make the site profitable.

Keep at it Jim, One post at a time, one page at a time. I agree with you, this is a great place to learn. If you haven't already done so, make sure to watch the 'live video classes' either live or on replay. There's some really great content in there and the people that do attend the live showing ask some really great questions that us new guys all need to hear.
