Amazon Affliates - Remove The Language
A blogger I know just got notice that Amazon was cutting off his affiliate link. The reason? Failure to meet Amazon's content standards that can be found at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/node/topic/GTYGNH7...
The final sentence of Amazon's page states: "You cannot offer any person or entity any consideration, reward, or incentive for using your links, or request support through use of your links (for example, by referring to proceeds from orders going to a particular charity or organization, or promoting use of your links to support you or your company)." [emphasis mine]
I looked at the blogger's affiliate disclosure page. It appears to be the one provided here at WA in the Site Content section. I've set it up on my own page but have not yet up set an Amazon Affiliate account so no problem....yet.
If you're using this language in your Affiliate Disclosure, I suggest you remove it immediately. I think someone at WA should review the Site Content also and see if it should be changed.
You can see other information on this topic here, item 6 in the list. https://blog.geni.us/2018/03/23/amazon-associates-guide-to-g...

Thank you for bringing this information to our attention. I don’t have an affiliate disclosure set up yet but it is something to be aware of once I do so. Thank you so much and have a great day!
