Before I Start Affiliate Marketing What should I Consider?

Prior to actually starting to even attempt making money online there are a few things you seriously need to consider and work out beforehand. Most folks just dive right in and never ask themselves: What To Do Before I Start Affiliate Marketing and If you'll give the following some thought before moving forward I feel you will considerably increase your chances of having success online.

What To Do Before I Start Affiliate Marketing

1) Just how Much Spare Time Do you possess? Now, unless you're fortunate enough to get started on your business full time and don't have dedicated family or other commitments staring you down then you'll want to exercise a weekly timetable. Put yourself on a schedule that works for you, your family and your business and be prepared to work it as you would a normal job for an employer.

Know when you will be free to concentrate solely on building and running your affiliate business and when you are not disturbed by others and then stick to this schedule.

2) Exactly where Will You Work? More than likely you will be working your business almost all of the time from your home but where exactly will this be? Are you fortunate enough to have an office space or could it be in the kitchen part time?

We started out my affiliate business working from my bedroom and that was fine during the day but through the night it was somewhat awkward as my partner would be in and out, and a little nosy sometimes. This was a distraction. Look for a place where you can work undisturbed for almost all of the time.

3) Friends and family Support. Now this is not essential but it's definitely nice if you have the support of your family. Tell them that you are starting an Affiliate Marketing business and tell them somewhat about how precisely all of it works.

Getting your family inside at the very start can make things easier as you improve and it will make them feel a part of it and who know's? They may even want to jump in and help.

4) How Much Do you wish to Make? Get clear on what your income targets are. Know what you want to be earning after 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. Set your goals and be prepared to read them every day.

If you exceed your expectations after 3 or 4 weeks then just revise the rest of the 12 months goals. Just know that in the beginning you're not really going to know what you're capable of until you dig in and start taking action. Tracking your goals and your process will paint a pretty awesome picture that will excite you and motivate you in most cases. It makes sense to be prepared to take action even if you don't think you know what you're doing.

5) Understand Your Why. Once you start an Affiliate Marketing business or any type of other business for that matter you should know WHY you are doing it. Take a few minutes every day and Day Dream a bit about why you're doing all this. Where do you want to be at the end of just 12 months? What is your vision of "Your" success?

You're FOR WHAT REASON could be you want to be in a position to manage to put your kids in private school. Most likely you desire to be able to leave your job and work from home. You may even want to bring your partner home first or just plan an amazing dream vacation for the entire family and pay for it like this.

Knowing your why will keep you going when you feel like quitting. Your why will help you wake up earlier to work your business or when you are working late.

Please don't make the mistake of pondering your Why is merely making more money, yes we all want more money but what is this money for? Everyone's' goals will not be the same. Know yours. That is YOUR WHY.

Now, go daydream, set some goals and dig in.
