anyone know why the html from lesson 7 wont appear on my site? i pasted it as instructed.?
You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try URL in a different browser or mobile device.
You can also empty servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache

Ok you may be trying to put html into your <header </header>
To do that it is necessary to install the plugin Ad Inserter. Do you do that.
Here's a blog with help.
Using Ad Inserter Plugin For Adding Google Analytics code in header Use Ad inserter plugin to control ads on your site When the plugin is installed go to the lefthand side and look in settings for it or for a tab "ad inserter" then add your html code between the <header> < /header> section. You will not see it because it works in the background to capture activity.
