Hi RitaAnn, even with hte changes within G i wouldn't outsource this - as you say ad inserter is easy to setup and use...
the changes within google adsense, and setting up ad units are not that hard to conquer...
i did it until i lost my adsense account...
and you can use it for so many other things...
so i would bear with it and work through it slowly - even trying it out on a test site first to make sure all is ok ( ask support to create a staging site - a copy of your main site, and this wil lshow you what it will look like without disturbing your main site....)
the main thing with adsense is to not allow it to take over your site and put it on auto ads...
create ad units and place them where you want them....it is your site after all...

have you tried out the rotator part of ad inserter....

you can indeed add the amazon links..i just tried it and it works well...
and you can have an ad rotator ( so two products being shown alternately in the same place)
again if it is a seasonal promotion it is very easy to turn on and off...

Hi feigner, thanks for the reply, I'm glad that Ad inserter works well with Amazon links. I have already installed into my word press and I'm sure it is going to help me a lot. If I find any challenges, i will come back to you for assistance.

Hi Sherry...glad you liked the training and the music suited....
the show html tags is in the debug part ....
if you visit a post and look at the toolbar at the top you will see the ad inserter menu...
click on this and you will be able to click show html tags...useful for debugging but but not much else....

Yes, it worked. I'm sorry, that was too easy. You did a wonderful job on the add inserter video! I saw that you're the Author, Congratulations! I actually loved the music haha, CJ has a bug in their tax information program, or at least I hit a brick wall. It won't up date and I only had one more step to finish and get program, darn. You've been a huge help to me since I arrived, it means a lot, just FYI I'll be going over the add inserter video a few times before I touch any buttons lol. Have a great day

i'm up for a harder challenge...only joking...
the debug is a useful technique of seeing graphically where you can add ad units...
that's a swine about CJ, but i am sure you will get there.. it maybe due to loading over the cyber weekend...
others are asking for more advanced training, such as adding to certain blog posts or creating and using it for amazon ads...
and there is a technique to have an ad rotator
i can't do anything with adsense as i don't think i have an active account...
