My first post - Hmmm. what to write?

So, I guess that I'm a little late writing my first blog post here on my WA profile. I've been a premium member for a month come Monday and still I haven't wrote a single post. Better late than never, right?

So, what have I been up to?

I've just been really busy develolping websites for clients and working on my first affiliate site as I follow along with the training here on WA. To be honest it's hard to find enough time to juggle everything and make it all work.

I definitely have to keep a detailed schedule and set daily and weekly goals for myself in order to stay organized. Another challenge is maintaining focus and ignoring the millions of distractions that I get bombarded with all day long. Let's just say that some days I do better than on others. Progress, not perfection, right?

Choosing My Affiliate Niche - The What, how, and why

So, I decided to go with the "how to make money online" niche. I have a lot experience in that area, and web development comes easy for me so I figured I'd become an affiliate marketer promoting to affiliate marketers... lol.

Seriously, I wanted to stick with what I know (digital marketing), and I wanted to promote something that I could feel good about promoting.

There's a lot of B.S. out there already without any of us adding to it.

Mainly, I want to promote Wealthy Affiliate. It just so happens that it fits perfectly within my requirements that I promote something I can feel great about promoting. I have to know that it's doing good for anyone who becomes a buyer/member through my affiliate link.

I also plan to monitize my site by adding a resources section where I list some of the leaders for different internet maketing/web dev tools like Aweber, GetResponse, Namecheap, SiteGround, SEMrush, you get the idea.

As far as the content that I plan to publish. Mostly, I want my posts to be high quality trainings on different things related to affiliate marketing, SEO, and web development, but I also want to use reviews and comparisons to promote digital marketing tools that I feel are the best at what they do. Nothing that I promote on this site will be gargage and I'm only reviewing the best of the best. After all, I'm putting my name on this so I definitely want to make it the best resource that it can be.
