Overcoming Procrastination.a work in progress.

Well I have just finished another successful WA training video and my creative juices are flowing. I grab my notebook (aka spiral notebook from the family school supply closet that was the only one in brand new condition.) Besides, I kind of enjoy the psychedelic multi-colored cheetah print on the cover. It reminds me to not take myself too seriously. Well, at least I tell myself that. ;) As I finger through to find my most recent 'homework' assignment I have created for myself I come to a dead stop.

See I am in the 'Get Started Here' part of training: Course 1, Lesson 9. And I have watched the training video and created my privacy page. BAM no problem. But now, that last box is staring at me. And I just can't check it off. 'Create About Me page' it says. Hum...what do I want to say about myself. Kyle says make it personal and connect.

Problem number one for me.

Why! Because I connect with a very small circle of friends and family that I am really close with. I am not the person who posts all the time on Facebook...although I am on Facebook. I don't post anything on Instagram although I follow a few wonderful people on there. I love close and deep relationships. So that brings me back to problem number one...being vulnerable to people, an audience per say, of people I don't even know.

My niche is personal. I have nothing to sell. It is really a site to build a community of support for those who have gone through the same issue. And this blog...well is only another way to procrastinate creating my 'about me' page.

It's Sunday and the weather is beautiful outside. For now, I will go work in the yard and soak in some sunshine. Maybe the feeling the breeze against my skin and the warmth of the sun will dissolve this emotional wall I have built for myself. I am sure there are plenty of you in WA that have overcome this mental hurtle...if you have, comment below. The rest of you that need another reason to procrastinate join me outside...and then comment on my blog later...much later.
