New small group at our church
At Heritage Church we have "small groups" and I just joined a new small group that made me think of Wealthy Affiliate. It is called helping hands and what we do is find people in need and see if we can help them. Tonight one person needed a lawn mower repaired and one had a broken washing machine. 2 people went to get the mower and bring it to the "shop" while the other 3 of us went to see what we could do with the washer.
It did not take long to realize that the washer needed a new timer, The mower was definitely an older mower that was going to need some cleanup and some TLC.
The group made me think of WA because just like WA we were going out to help others and because of this we were also being rewarded.
Our group is very small and there are a lot of needs, so we expect to be fairly busy..

Jerry, if your church is a big church small groups make it personal where you can get to know people and really address the needs of the group.

What a blessing! It always seems to me that when I do something to bless others I seem to be blessed by it somehow, even though that's not the reason for doing it.
What a wonderful feeling one gets when he/she helps others in need! Kudos to you and your church members as you are living your faith. God Bless!

Hi Jerry. How rewarding to be able to help someone and look forward to a positive outcome. While the repairs to the mower and the washing machine are only superficial the actions to make the repairs must have caused very positive vibes in the hearts of the owners.
