Computer Problem is back
The desktop is having video problems again, no place local to purchase a video card, I have checked Amazon, about 40.00, which right now is not doable, but get paid Friday, so maybe then.
The desktop is an HP Pavilion 500 series with windows 8.1, and is much nicer than my old laptop that I am writing this post on. I finally got the laptop up and running after 2 days of trying. Right now I am so grateful to have any computer. I am going to try to work on my website tonight and tomorrow for a while.
I am sure I will be able to install the video card OK, but will have to see if I can find info on the net on how to disable the video card built into the mainboard of the computer. There is likely a switch somewhere, or it may even be automatic.
With any luck I will be able to get a post on my website at www.bmgcyclesplus.com and maybe get to work some more on the WA Affiliate Bootcamp.
Not long before the Desktop went down I found a WP Plugin which give you an autoresponder from your website, it was 7.00, but I never got a chance to actually buy it, has anyone heard about it? Does anyone know if it works. If it works wouldn't need aweber or getrepsonse as the ad for it was clear that it could replace these.
I added widget on my website that tells me where my visitors come from, wow it is neat, now real sure what I can do with the info yet, but sure it will be useful down the line, check it out when you get a chance.
Hope everyone has a great day

Installing a video card is pretty much straight forward, just make sure that you have the unit unplugged from any power source (and it doesn't hurt to at least touch the case metal before installing the board, this WILL dissipate any static that may be present, one spark is all it takes to damage sensitive equipment)(I use a static strap). When the board is installed, just plug your monitors patch cord to the new board and power up the computer, the operating system will detect the new board and you should be OK, provided that there is no other problems. Let me know how it goes.

Doesn't it seem like whenever you get into a rhythm with working on your site, something always goes wrong. At least for me it does. Hope you can get it fixed soon:)
Wishing you success!
