Looking for inspiration

Recently I've been finding it hard to find inspiration to keep writing, because while I love it, my focus doesn't seem to be able to stay on one thing. I always try to keep focused by tuning off everything else when I'm writing, and setting small goals that are more attainable.

Content is obviously a huge part of this program, since we are catering to the customer, who need to read out stories and relate to our products. So what happens when you have great ideas and can't focus long enough to get them to paper so to speak?

I know others must have the same issue, so what do you do to help stay focused and take the time to write pages, posts ect??

We all go through this at some point and forget how we felt when we first started out here at WA , I keep a vision board, quotes take a break do something else, read good book or the best thing is just to write anything and keep going till you start on the pathway to something with in you niche

Try try try again, I have same problem but I keep the urge and the belief in my self I will get there in the end, I have writtern a lot and not posted as not sure that what I wrote would benefit any one other than my self so now I have time to put more thought in to what is more beneficial to all, hope to Blog soon and good look to you.

Sometimes my fingers just do not seem to work. I sit and stare at the page and I know there is plenty to write about and I might even have a post outlined, but I just can't get it done.

There is no point in forcing it for me. I have to take a walk, call a friend, take some training (again). Then when it comes, I am up all night finishing it.

The first most important thing is not to quit, the second is to keep it simple, and the third is to stay focused on training. Go through Jay's videos in the Live Video Classes. You will find a lot of inspiration there.

Also, avoid oversubscribing to blogs in your email. I have made this mistake and it is a time sucker. Internet marketers are just trying to sell you information and training you are already paying for here.

Limit social media to one or two networks and learn them well. It is easy to get overwhelmed and lose focus when we try to do too much at once.

You can also make a spreadsheet of your blog posts in Google docs or Excel. it is good to get organized and to have as a reference when you are looking for your next post subject.

Hope I helped. It helped me just answering you. Now I have to get back to work. I have a post to write and my deadline is midnight tomorrow and I am still struggling to write it!

Post it notes really work for me. I write a keyword or idea that I want to target with other related ideas down for the next day. Otherwise the next day I'm wondering what to do and end up wasting time contemplating..

Thats the problem I'm having right now on my one page. Im sitting there staring at the screen, debating too much. Just have to write it and get it out there!

yea thats why I'm here right now. I didn't give myself a job to do today lol. The time we spend contemplating over should I or should I not. We could have written a post targeting the keyword. At the end of the day, what do you have to loose by spending a couple hours writing.. Nothing. But there is so much more to gain by writing!

I'm an avid note taker. Without my notes I'd go crazy and never stay on task. It helps me to be able to cross off each item as I do it, that gives me a sense of accomplishment. Maybe this could help?

I like that. Im a huge list fan with everything else, like a to-do list. Thanks!

I also like to categorize my tasks, like in outline form. I'm an outline freak I'll admit... Shh... don't tell anybody! Lol It just helps me put things into better perspective. Good luck my dear.

Haha your secret is safe. Thanks!

I also keep little bits in one note until I can get to that post. I add to the pages along and along until I am ready to write the post. I go through those notes and organize how I want to write it. I don't try to do it all at one time. I find that, once I'm ready to write, it just seems to flow right along.

Thanks so much! I like that note idea. Especially with the google docs app, whenever I have an idea I can just use my phone and write a sentence or too whenever it comes to me.

what is your niche?

do you love it?

What I usually do is write down topics that apply to my niche on paper and then figure out what I would like to write about at that time, I don't like to focus on one thing at a time for too long so what I usually do is pull up "one Note" on my computer and start writing about a topic and save what I have for later, I can always jump to a different topic and write something and when I come up with something else on the first topic, jump back to it.

You can always look up your niche and find inspiration from other peoples sites as well. I like to think of it as, instead of making it like an essay or having to write about it, make it a conversation.

Tell the person like you were talking to them in person. The words just seem to add up and by the time I look at how many words are on the page I really don't have much more to go.

I set myself a goal of 2-3 topics a week. I can't seem to focus on writing when everything is off its too silent for me lol, I have to have music or the tv in the background, but that is just me.

Hope this helps some :)

I love love the idea of writing like it's a conversation. I hated random essays in school, maybe the pages remind me too much of that right now. I do love the topic I'm writing about. My website right now is promoting WA, and working from home is the page I'm on. I tell my friends all about it all the time. Ill definitely start doing it in a way that is like a conversation. Thanks so much!

When I am feeling like that, I do a little at a time. There have been times when I think I will just start something (not really into it) and find myself doing a lot more than I thought. It's better to do a little than not at all. As for time, work on things when you can. Life gets busy sometimes, but just stay with it! Good luck.

True. I think I'm so caught up in the new-ness of it, that I just want to get it all done, TODAY! lol. As long as it's being worked on then it's progress. Thanks!
