I am learning more than I thought possible!
I have been a web designer for a few years now, and as such, I have spent days and weeks studying how to be successful online.
Wealthy Affiliate has more to offer than most college courses. I know this because I have learned more valuable information in my short time here than I have in years of studying at an academic level and self-taught methods.
Although, I am happy to have struggled on my own so I can understand the value that WA actually brings, which gives me the ground to better translate that to new potential members in the future.
What have I learned you might ask?
It goes beyond all the things I have learned in the training and from my peers in the community, y'all are awesome by the way!
I have learned more about myself since I joined on November 15th, 2021 than I ever thought possible.
I have a new level of confidence in my abilities, and more motivation than I have ever had to better myself each and every day. On top of that, I can help other people I care about to reach financial freedom working for themselves, and nothing does my soul better than helping others achieve their dreams.
Plus, being "forced" to learn WordPress is great too (I avoided it like the plague before joining WA). I usually code my own websites, mainly because I like the creative control and the level of functionality you can add yourself, but for streamlining a process, knowing how to operate within WP is a must!
I have also made leaps and bounds in my knowledge of my chosen niche, "Non-religious Homeschooling" which has helped me with teaching my own kids and managing the stresses that come with this lifestyle, things I never would have realized otherwise. Writing about them and doing my due diligence with research has been life-changing, not only for me but my family as well.
Moving Forward
I plan on having 30 - 50 posts within the next three months that average at least 1,500 words, which I believe is very achievable at a rate of 3 posts a week moving forward.
My six-month goal however is to have at least 75 articles on the website, but I am aiming for 100. It depends on what I get accomplished in the next three months at which time I will reassess my goals and adjust accordingly.
I don't really have financial goals for these milestones, but my yearly income goal is to at least be paying my rent or utilities with my commissions and ad revenue by next November and at the very least be able to cover next year's premium plus yearly membership. I am mainly focusing on getting content on the site for now.
Be looking for me!
By this time next year, I would like to be creating my own training courses, providing support, and on my way to becoming a mountain in the community; I haven't been super active in the forums, but that's only because I am putting my nose to the books so I can actually help when the time comes.
However, I would love to assist in any way possible so if anyone needs an accountability partner, or someone to just shoot the snuff with, don't hesitate to give me a shout!
I look forward to seeing all of your successes, and failures, so we can build one another up and change our futures for the better!
Be looking for me; I have had my eye on that top 200 badge since I joined!
