Finally got my very first commission!

So my WA work has been very on-again, off-again since last August. But I'm still here and back to working on it regularly. With any new venture, if I get at least some immediate success, it fuels me to keep going. With this WA work (just like starting any new business), it takes a little longer to get things going, depending how much time you can actually put into it and how quickly.

I didn't get any immediate success, so I lost my motivation over the winter (winter is a slow time energetically for me anyway). But then, finally, the magic moment happened - I got an email from Viglink saying "Congratulations on your first commission!" I was so excited, but on my Viglink dashboard it didn't show any commissions for several more days, so I didn't know if this was a mistake - finally it showed up on my dash.

My first commission = $ .19!

There's the temptation to brush this off, it's less than a quarter. But it's my first commission, real money, and just the beginning of things to come.

I like Viglink because whatever Amazon Associates is doing (not letting me join, then not working to let me join, finally becoming an Associate, then later Amazon revoking my membership due to lack of sales), Viglink automatically gets me the best Amazon commission rate and links me to Amazon through them - they also find other links and automatically put them in - like for Walmart and other sites. You have to keep an eye on the links, though, recently the software messed up and in one post my keyword "espresso machine" takes the reader to Nissan and truck pages! They're working on fixing that.

Still - my first commission - woo-hoo!
