I have installed the Yoast SEO plugin and now my site is not showing up in GA.

One of the benefits with Yoast was that you could drop a plugin as it creates its own site

Is analytics not functioning with Yoast or did installing Yoast just remove the analytics code you were using with AIO SEO?

You can always do GA manually by adding the code into the header- have you tried that?

Hey Nathaniell.
Really not sure what happened. After following the tutorial and installing Yoast, it just stopped working.

I asked the trainer what he thought could be the problem and he said that you usually get a message asking if you want to connect with GA, but I didn't see this message. He said he would look into it.

I would have to assume that even if someone missed this message, one would still be able to connect with GA?

Or, it could be as you say and the Yoast plugin somehow removed my code?

Still unsure at this point, so it looks like manually adding is my only option.

As I asked around, it seemed like a lot of people had similar problems with GA and site maps. The site maps issue was easily resolved, but I heard from many who gave up on the plugin over the GA issue.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by and hope all is well with you ~Jeremy

Yes, I learned from yoast, made my own list and went back to the All in one.

Hey Loes.
Thanks for the link to your training. Nice job!

Are you saying that you did have problems with yoast and GA?

Is that the reason why you switched back to All in one?

sitemap problems yes, I thought, I use yoast for a few posts and when I got the hang of it, I deleted yoast again, it was really helpful

OK. I had problems with site maps too, but was able to resolve that issue and site map works fine now.
I just can't get analytics to function properly.

I didn't even bother to try, success finding the solution

visit this training hope it helps you. Good luck :)

Hi renelynm.
Thanks for your reply, but that is just training on how to install another plugin call Google Analytics by Yoast.
I was hoping to avoid installing another plugin.
Any other ides?
