Horrible Bosses, An anniversary And A Birthday

Hi Everyone,

It's been quite a while since I have written a post and this one won't be earth-shattering. It is just me getting the scrambled thoughts out of my head!

The last several weeks have NOT been great for me, I have new bosses at work and without going into too much detail, let me say, it's been less than pleasant. This has sapped ALL of my energy and ALL of my motivation. As a result I have not managed to get many WA tasks done!!

UPSIDE!! I am slowly realising that the only way to escape the horrible bosses, is to succeed here at WA. So my motivation is returning and I am slowly getting on track again.

As we approached the Easter weekend things took a turn for the better. On Thursday 29th March it was my Mum and Dad's 60th wedding anniversary and I would like to pay tribute to them for achieving such an incredible milestone. My sister and I, traveled down the coast to where they live and spent 2 days with them, had a lovely lunch with them and spent some quality time. It was great.

LESSON LEARNT!! Things don't always come easy, being successful takes a lot of hard work and patience. If you really want something you have to be committed and work on it EVERY day, never give up.

Finally, today is my birthday!! I went to work this morning quite happy and with the intention of having lunch with my sister and dinner with my kids, YES it was all about me. Then at 10am the phone rang and they had taken my daughter to hospital by ambulance ( she will be fine ), so I sat at the hospital all day, ran home for quick dinner of pizza with my sons, then back to the hospital for the evening, PHEW!!

MOMENT OF CLARITY!! There is NOTHING more important than family.

That includes the WA family, you have all been my sanity these last few weeks, my little escape each evening. Many thanks to you ALL.
