I Have To Say I Am A Little Disappointed!

I am your average joe, trying to make a go of things like most of you here. I have been here at WA for 13 months, I am not tech savvy so my progress is slow, but moving forward.

I do not have the smarts to answer questions and give advice, but I try to get on here at least once a day and like, comment, encourage and celebrate the successes.

I don't post very often and rarely ask questions. However, on 17th feb, I did ask a question, it may not have been earth shattering or even interesting, but it was important to me.

Don't get me wrong, I love WA, the training is great and the community greater. One of the main reasons I joined WA was the community, as I knew I would need guidance.

So much to my surprise, when I asked my question only one person replied THANK YOU phil1944 your a sweet man and I appreciate you taking the time to try and help me.

I am not a princess, and I do not want to offend anyone but, I was disheartened by this. I am going to leave the link to my question and I hoping someone can help me with it.

So sorry you were disappointed.Honestly I am not not not not and not tech savvy at all lol but seriously . I didn’t then nor do I know the answer now and when I don’t know I get out of the way for others to reply.

Thank you for your positive comments. Yes the learning curves here can be very trying at times. I was feeling a little lost, but the support has been awesome and I am feeling much better.

Please don't be disappointed because we are here to help each other out but sometimes things get overlooked. I am sorry that you had experienced something like this.

My advice to you is got to Site Support those guys are great they can find just about anything they will definitely help you out that is where I go just about all the time for help when it concerns my site.

I hope this helps you out Jenny again I am sorry that you had this kind of experience though.

I am happy that you are feeling better try don't let things get you down. When that happens do something else and clear your mind and do something else focus on something that makes you happy and do that.

You can even pm me and we can chat if you like because I don't want you to give up because that is not in our vocabulary here. That is one thing we don't do and that is giving up.

I hope that this helps you out because you are going to be very successful you have what it takes to do this and I want you to keep that in mind,

Hi Jenny, try not to take things to heart, sometimes we ask questions and folks don't respond or connect, it is just the way it is.

It is not a reflection on the community.

I asked a question last night, I think about two folks responded, there are supposedly 9.7 k folks in my network.

My suggestion would be when things like this happen one of your first port of calls after asking the community would be site support those guys are exceptional when it comes to sorting out website related issues and 9 out of 10 times they will sort it out for you.

I think the problem was, Jenny, that it was a difficult question in that it didn't have a clear-cut answer.

I see that a couple more people have now proffered opinions, based around the competition for your keyword.

Hey Jenny sorry to hear, I went back to your question and for the life of me (only two months old here and not a techie either) I would still have been unable to help you...sometimes if I cannot assist someone, I would rather leave it to the those who know what to do...and it seems Phil is a very experienced Techie so you actually got the best person who has helped you anyway.

I am truly sorry, I get a faster answer going through live chat than I do here in the community - so yes I totally understand, i asked a I question the other day, and even I cannot remember what I asked because I got no reply (or one I think who tried).

It can be disheartening!
