Well, these last 3 weeks have been just a blast, but I suppose it's time I get back to the business of business. I really wish these last 3 weeks had been a blast. Alas, that is not the case.

The house that I was living in was sold out from under me. I spent a week trying to find a place to live. Somewhere in the middle of that, I received a phone call from a title agent asking me to clear up a clouded title. It turns out that I am still the legal owner of a house. I spent a week having utilities turned on, finding that all of the copper on the outside of the house had been not so skillfully removed, moving a piano (not recommended), and generally scrambling to get my things out of one house and into another.

It's been exciting, to say the least! Thank goodness the 6 year old was on vacation at the beach and not under foot. He was lucky enough to go to Disneyland TWICE in 4 days time. Not only did he get to have all the usual Disney fun, he was chosen for Jedi training! He battled Darth Vader, himself!!

I did manage to find myself on a beautiful beach for a nice 3 day stay in Carpinteria, CA. I am very fortunate to have a sister who lives just steps from the sand. She was kind enough to share her space and her beach with me, so that I could regroup.

We have spent an entire week here at our very own house, and I would like to think that we are getting into a groove. First Grade starts tomorrow, and I will take that as a nudge in the "back to work" direction. While I still have a TON of unpacking to do and an entire house that needs a complete remodel, I can't sit on my hands any longer. This mama needs to get back to work! Expect to see me all over WA and making my very best attempt to conquer the world!!

It's good to be home :)
