Hey everyone, I have a question.

Is it possible to prevent someone from copying from my website?

Is there a way to protect my content?

Wish you all a great day 😀

i just found a post from Eric that can help you as well

Wishing you well

Wow, that's so great, thank you so much! When I do my research about anything really, I find 4 or 5 different websites with the same text! It's really a waste of time, and I'm talking about sites on the first page on Google.
I am pouring my heart and soul when I write and just want to make it a little bit hard for someone to just copy it and claim it. So, to prevent the right click will do just fine.
Thanks again 🙂

You are welcome Jelena as I said the plugin I gave you will deter many but those who really want to do it the hard way can simply screenshot.

Plus as Eric stated on his post even thought someone may get to top spot and they copied content they will get severely punished and lose most likely the place not just on Page 1 but also be nowhere to be seen online.

but at least this way as we both said is to make it a bit harder for many as most couldn't be bothered to screenshot and have to type it all out.

Wishing you a great weekend

Andre

Hi Jelena

You can use a plugin the one I use is called WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click however all that does is prevent people from right-clicking and copying the post or page which is great as it can deter some.
However, anyone that knows their way around can still do so like taking screenshots.

There are no foolproof ways but at least for most people, the plugin can stop them from right-clicking.

If you have a member here that has done it let Kyle or Carson know.

If you find it on someone else website outside of fellow members that your content has been copied send them a message and warning it is reported and they need to remove the content

I believe you can also contact Google but at the moment can't find the details for that yet hopefully someone else knows that links with Google.

Google will also punish those copying and pasting others' work if they can find out. Remember that is one of the reasons why it is good to have the date of the original time you created and published your post as proof as well.
