What Do You Put In Your Business Newsletters

Not long ago I wrote a post on newsletters, and to my surprise I am amazed how many of the members here are scared to death to start their business newsletter. So I asked myself what could be the main reasons so many of you are so anxious when it comes to starting your business newsletter?

What Is A Business Newsletter?

You will experience your newsletter is your next step to earning a substantial income online, so how many of you know what a business newsletter is? This is going to be what forms a special relationship between you and your readers, and those who sign up for your email list are anxious to get to know you and your business better. You will find very few people are earning an income online solely through content marketing with their blog, and your blog is just another marketing tool to get people to become interested in your products and services. So what is stopping you from taking that first step, and for most of you it is your fear of doing something you have never done before?

Newsletter Vs Blog

Most of you I am sure have never written a blog before joining WA, but here you are writing high-quality blog posts for the first time in most of your lives. Believe it or not, you are worried about nothing since writing a business newsletter is much easier than writing a blog post. Your blog posts are full of information you have to research, and another thing you had to learn to write posts between 1000 and 2000 words to rank on the search engines. As for your newsletter, it is a much shorter version usually less than 1000 words, and so this should make you feel more at ease not more anxious.

If you think about your newsletter as just being another email this might ease your anxiety, and you don't need one of those newsletter services such as Mail Chimp to put out an excellent newsletter to your readers. I write most of my product reviews in my business newsletter instead of in my blog posts, I use my blog posts as a tool to get my readers to subscribe. So my blog posts are more informational than actually promoting my products and services, and so I always provide one freebie, and one affordable product or service in my newsletter for my subscribers. When you are providing anything free you are going to have fewer people unsubscribe, and even something as simple as a free e-book keeps your readers wanting to read more.

This really takes the pressure off of you when you know exactly what your reader is expecting, so I strongly recommend you consider my fail-proof strategy. These are just what popped into my head as I was writing this training for you, but if you really do some research and shopping you can find so many things you can offer your readers in your own business newsletters.

Once you get over the fear of writing your first few newsletters you will find this to be one of your favorite parts of your business, and with the newsletter plugin you can accomplish this very easy and make your newsletter unique from everyone else's. Many of the free newsletter services have strict rules about inserting affiliate links, and some even forbid specific niches depending on the company. You want to go with your own newsletter right from your own website, and then you have total control over what goes into your newsletter without the fear of getting banned.

Practice Before Starting Your Newsletter

You can practice in your very own email creating fake newsletters until you perfect the one that you are comfortable with, and what I did when I started out was created one in one of my email boxes, and sent it to another one of my email boxes to see how it would look. Most of the time you are going to have plenty of time before you start receiving subscribers, you can even announce your newsletter will not begin until a specific time to give you enough time to prepare. With the newsletter plugin everything is pretty much set up for you automatically right after you install the plugin, so all you have to really do is create your first newsletter, and save it as your template and you are ready put this in auto-mode.
