Tiresome & Tedious Thursday Travails #1 of Two!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Those high winds yesterday tired me out, so I am starting tired today for some reason, but I still jumped on the computer to do the morning commute through the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
Kitty, a few moments later, sauntered into the room! Let's see what Tig-Tg was doing this time last year!
As I suspected, pretty much the same as she always does! I did some chores around the eBay house this morning too. I also loaded some dilapidated boxes into the van to take over to the locksmith house to dispose of!
The morning is sunny but chilly! At 10:20am it is only 35 degrees Fahrenheit!
Among my other morning activities, there was, of course, also some more Wealthy Affiliate researched performed!
Once these morning rituals are completed, I feel like my day will continue to progress successfully!
It seems like everywhere I look, there is always something to be done!
I took some things over to the locksmith shop house.
The drive was decent enough! The weather, although in the mid 40s was still nice.
That was until the road was blocked by crews clearing storm damage from last night!
When I finally arrived at the locksmith shop house, that was when a good day took a little detour!
Storm damage was evident to the roof over there! There will not be any leaks, but there will need to be some repairs done at a time of year when this is extremely inconvenient! Oh well, I'm lucky compare to the tornado victims the other day, so I am not complaining at all!
There are also a lot of shingles at the side of the house too, and all down the street. Plus two corrugated roof panels got blown of the garage too, and one hit and destroyed a side mirror on the car! No worries though, I thought! This will easily be handled!
That's when a call came from Tommy Williams! He is Frank and I's associate who own the building right next to my warehouse!
He informed me that about 8-9 panels of my privacy fence are either completely down or leaning very precariously!
He wasn't wrong about that when I surveyed the damage after I arrived there! Oh wow!
So far, I managed to get the two shown above stood back up and secured temporarily! (below)
There are going to be roof repairs needed there, as well! It has needed to be done anyway, I'm just not sure how to handle it at the moment as I am still processing this dramatic turn of events!
Ah well! Everyone wish me luck! I'll be publishing this post now, and might do a Part 2 recap later!

Gee...when it rains it pours...never a dull moment in your life. Murphy certainly is lurking around. So sorry to see that you've had all these hits today. Thank goodness it wasn't like those tornadoes, though and that you're safe & sound. Hopefully cleanup won't be too rough. Hang in there, Jeff! :-)

Thank you, Susan! It shouldn't be too rough! It will just be a bit tedious and time consuming, but then, there is really no other things for me to do except work and Wealthy Affiliate! I'll get it all squeezed in somehow!

Sorry to hear about Tig-Tig, but sure happy she's going back to someone who cares! Now, if she can get over her PTSD for her several months of torment, maybe she'll get back to her playful little self.
