Frigid Frisatsu Friday Felt Fine & Finally FIREPLACE!

We awoke (Kitty and I) early this frigid Frisatsu Friday at around 6:30 am to a phone call from my buddy Kevin getting off work at the railroad after a 16-hour shift! The temperature was a balmy 4 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and the eBay house thankfully still weighing in at a Frosty 35 degrees, Fahrenheit!
This was the first picture of Kitty today at 6:31am this morning!
We got out of bed, I fed her, and went into the computer room and chatted with him for about 30 minutes, while answering / reading a few Wealthy Affiliate Community blog posts!
Then, it was time to head back to bed!
When we finally woke up again, it was just past noon!
Here was Kitty at that time, still snuggled against me in the blanket womb! She was clearly, not amused! Nevertheless, the outdoor temps had risen to 22 degrees Fahrenheit, so there was no longer any excuse to remain in bed!
I immediately brewed coffee, and started heating up yesterday evening's Chilmac for lunch, and dove right back into the Wealthy Affiliate Community, but not before venturing outside to capture a few images! (including the title image).
Coming back inside form that, I ate some lunch I warmed up, and got back on the computer to perform a little more research in Wealthy Affiliate!
There never truly is a dull moment there!
The temperature finally rose to 38 degrees Fahrenheit--over 6 degrees above the forecast high of FREEZING! I went outside and fired up the jeep and allowed it to reach operating temperature!
While I was out there, the captured the above image of the sun, and when I downloaded it into the computer, I noticed that I had inadvertently captured a jet contrail in the image, as well!
After that, I decided to do some more work on the fireplace, and, Surprised, I have a nice test fire burning in there!
I am, for lack of a better word, ecstatic! I still have some clearing out of the room to do, and that will be continuing activity for this evening!
I will also be on the computer a lot tonight! Likely, also some more telephone time while I work some with friends, and possibly even another chat with Monica like the 1 and a half hour chat I had with her last night!
I will likely be working on some of my alternative heating ideas again tonight too! I am thankful though that we will be having some warmer temperatures over the next few days! That will raise my motivation levels too!
I'm also planning on listing a few more items on eBay somewhere during all the above activities, since I found some items while clearing the area around the fireplace which will do a lot better on eBay than waiting to put them on the Woocommerce inventory pile! This is mainly because they are not books or papers, which is what my Woocommerce site will offer when it is finally off and running!
Since I still don't have some new Blog Dog images from Monica yet (although she promises me she will send some more), I'll load another one from the past!
I HAD, ALL IN ALL, AN EXCELLENT FRIDAY FRISATSU! I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAD AN EXCELLENT START TO THEIR FRISATSU, AS WELL! BE SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL!

Ah it does sound like an excellent day Jeff with some great plans in motion. The fire development sounds fab. Despite my sight challenges I love building fires, reminds me of camping as a child and good memories. Praying you continue to have those good chats with Monica.

Thanks, Tracy! I was very pleased to get it going! Of course, there is still some serious rearranging that needs to be done to allow the heat to fully penetrate the room, so I have my work cut out for me still!

It looks like you have lots going on, which is great. I'm very pleased to see that you have a fire alight, that should make a huge difference! Even just looking at a fire in a room makes you feel better, it brings life into a home.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Roy! Just sitting at the computer in the next room and hearing the crackling logs made everything seem warmer too!
I'm encouraged about the chats with Monica, but I also know there are still serious underlying issues which have been left up to God! I can only meet her so far! She needs to meet me in the middle if it is His will for us to make it work!
In the mean time, I am still working hard to make a go of everything on my own, so that I can function and get back on track! Spring cannot get here fast enough, but when it does, it needs to slow down to a crawl and stay for a long time!

It is amazing what a fire does in the house! I remember years ago some open fires were absolutely terrible, but they look nice! When I say terrible, they throughout very little heat. Thankfully, modern wood burners and stoves have come a long way in the last few years.
I'm glad that you are encouraged, Jeff, that's definitely a good thing. All things are possible for those who believe! Let's hope good things happen.
I hear you, Jeff, it's important to keep everything else going and keep ahead of the game. I don't want to wish time away, but to be fair Spring won't be too far away. I have just come back for a walk across the fields and it's fantastic to see the evenings getting longer.

I totally agree, Roy! My fireplace is older, but I'll use a box fan to draw heat out into the room once I have things rearranged a bit better!
I definitely and working towards Spring, but I will get some outdoor productivity accomplished while we have a bit more temperate weather!

It's always good to look on the bright side and see the positive signs of life! Every time I walk across the fields, I see something new which reminds me of creation. It's good to see buds filling up and bulbs coming through!

Glad your day went well. Just put up a blog (in which I mentioned you) so you can read that and see how mine has done. I have been without phone or internet service all day. It just came back on about a half hour ago. Hope it holds up for tomorrow!

It is cold as hell here too (20's) which is a bit unusual for this early in the new year - that is more like next month's weather. Plus we still have half-melted snow/slush that is now solid ice all over the place - so that is causing all kinds of damage to vehicles and lots of slips and falls.
