There was Turkey, Ham, Sweet Potatoes, several other dishes I don't know the names of, Pecan Pie, Brownies, some kind of cake. Dad enjoyed it and himself and it was all good.

My mom and I live in the same apartment building, but live in separate apartments.

Dad and I live together. I am basically his caregiver because he is 91 years old, is in remission from a rare form of treatable Leukemia, his Neuropathy has stolen his balance, also leading to loss of strength through atrophy, and he is legally blind.

I look at it as my time to repay him (and Mom, while she was with us) for everything he/they did for me.

You should have great genes with your parents living at such a long life. My grandmother lived to 94, and my mom is 87 right now.

Thanks, Jeff. It has been an ongoing thing since the first time 6 months ago but then back in June of this year there has been some hot/warm water 💦 running in our pipes throughout the entire complex only now as in November there is now no hot water 💦 running at all but we are going to get through it somehow. In the meantime I'm just going to be looking for facilities to cover our basic showering needs.
