How to Be More Productive in Less Time
Hello WA Family
The learning never ends in WA. Today we are going to explore ways we can be more productive in less time. Since time is limited for many members, I thought this might interest many of you.
Come Up With a Plan
Like many things in life planning and preparing is the key to success. We are going to explore how we can use this to our advantage in being more productive.
- Dedicate specific times for writing, editing, and promotion. This helps you stay focused.
- Keep a notebook nearby to capture content ideas. I keep one on my bedside stand because often before I fall asleep I get my best ideas. Later, I read over them and decide which ones I want to use for content.
- How you'll promote your content helps you and saves you time. Using scheduling tools for social media and email newsletters is a real-time-saver.
- Plan your content with a calendar. Use outlines to map the structure of your content.
Planning and forming a routine will allow you to complete more tasks in less time. Let us look at what I have for you in the next paragraph.
Be More Productive With Tools
There are productive tools available that will save you time. Time management tools are a great asset and many of them are free to use.
- Grammarly for editing
- Canva for visuals
- Hootsuite for social media scheduling
- Use your content in infographics, videos, and podcasts.
- Create social media graphics or blog post images all at one time to save yourself time.
The tools and suggestions above will give you a good start in being more productive in less time. Next, how can you be more efficient is what I have for you.
Efficiency Tips
Being productive and efficient go hand in hand. That is what you will learn more about in this paragraph.
- Dedicate specific times in your calendar for content creation.
- Avoid distractions like email and social media.
- Use the Pomodoro Technique (25 minutes focused work, 5 minutes break)
- Find a quiet workspace, turn off notifications, and use website blockers to avoid getting sidetracked.
Now for your content strategy, we all need to form a productive method to be more productive in writing our blog posts.
Content Strategy Ideas
- Create content that remains relevant for a long time, like how-to guides.
- Focus on problem-solving in your niche.
- Turn your blog posts into infographics, and videos into podcasts. There are plugins available to assist you in accomplishing this in a shorter time.
- Regularly evaluate your content's performance to see what resonates with your audience.
Next, I am going to provide you with some productivity resources to help you even more.

No matter what niche I have been promoting over the years, I always make it a point to include resources. Your readers will appreciate you including these in your content, and tempt them into coming back.

Some great resources here Jeff. I have found that for me the most important thing is to focus on one thing at a time.

Hello Rick
You have a very good point focusing on one thing at a time. Multi-tasking can get you into trouble and confuse you many times

I use a pen and paper, and then the computer, Jeff! I say keep it old school and simple.

I agree Jeff
You will always find notebooks in almost every room of my apartment with my ideas

Hello dear JeffBrown4, I always give credit for each soul because each and everyone has something to share for fellowship !! :)
Yes it is one off my favourite tools and i can share it with team and everyone has a section about what they need to do and when they have don it they can move it over to their completed section. So I have a minute by minute overview of whats going on without having to ask

Great suggestions, Jeff! Another very helpful post.
I usually spend 4 hours (10 am-2 pm) working on my website after dropping my two boys off at school. Then that's it. I'll do weekends but broken times here and there - it's tough with the boys at home inc the hubby!
Time-wise, this is it for me.
For tools, I use grammerly (don't know what I'd do without it!)
The rest of your suggestions that you've listed, well, thank you Jeff for those as I'll need it!
Tools are great Minara, but when you are just starting content is King. When you need a tool is the time to investigate it, and then you can ask the community
Great you are working when the time is the best for you. I understand you have less time with a family to take care of
