Hiccup on the horizon

Over the last week or so I've been having some problems with my hands.

I've been out to see the Doc and I'm seeing a specialist on Friday morning.

I first started noticing this weakness / pain and tremors a while ago but was trying to rise above it. Then I began to lose grip on things and some of my poor dishes have chips and the amount of bowls, dinner plates and glasses is decreasing on a weekly basis. It is getting harder to type, open bottles, cans and I've had to admit defeat when it comes to ripping open a coffee sachet.

This in turn causes other problems like getting dressed. Buttons just make fun of me now and laces laugh hysterically....... then there is the problem of cutting my food not to mention changing the channel on the TV (I don't watch tv often enough for that to bother me yet...I'm more of a bookworm). Blessedly we don't have a 'push' flush on the toilet and I can still hang onto my toothbrush.

I may have to take a sabbatical from here....it depends on what the specialist says on Friday morning (9-10.30am GMT)

So I will update on Friday. Until then, love, laugh and be thankful for what ya got.

:-)

Look for some alternatives if you can. I believe there is voice recognition tools for using computers. Anyway good luck with the doc.

How uncomfortable it must be for you. Let's hope that the specialist has a treatment to help with those tremors.
Until them take it easy.
