Enter Those Contests

Hello folks of WA!

I want to share a story:

On November 9th/23rd I recieved an email from one of my affiliate brands offering a contest to those looking to win a bonus cash prize for content.

This was my first contest offer I accepted and thought, why not. The deadline was for January 20th, 1st place was $1000 bonus, 2nd place was $600 bonus, and 3rd place was a $400 bonus.

Well about 2 days later, there was another contest offering for Apogee, which is through Facebook, in which creators were to post affiliate links on their social media feeds promoting Christmas products related to your niche.

I too decided to join that one as again I said, "why not"?!!

December 1st

2 winners were announced this day for the Apogee contest, and each winner recieved $100 prize money. Who do you think won it?

Fast forward, I get another email on January 9th with an extension on the other contest, where all content had to be submitted beforeJanuary 31st now... heres what it said:

With the help of one of our favourite tools in this world, I asked mr.gpt to follow the guidelines and create a compelling article for my RV niche. After a few solid hours later and some very crafty positioning of affiliate links, I submitted my one and only article November 15th.

Yeah, I submitted this that long ago and forgot about it until I read this email, then I remembered "oh yeah, I did that already"!

Now I know it's not February 9th yet, but I'm checking away on all my affiliate platforms and i see this...

I'm thinking to myself "Great, another commissions scam" in which you can read about in my earlier post here; Commissions Declined (wealthyaffiliate.com)

The Results are In...

Well wouldn't you know, my suspicions were wrong! I look at my email, and it turns out...

I won 2nd friggin place, that makes me excited!!

Moral of the story

• Always, always, always join contests
• Follow the training
• Never Give Up!

You just never know when surprises come your way!
