A Personal Note To Self
Dear Jazzie,
I hope all is well with you, as I know that you have had your plate rather full over the past year or so. I wanted to send you a note and tell you how I feel. It has been a while since we last had a moment to just catch up. You once would make time for me, we were even best friends. Some where down the line you have gotten so busy with everyone and everything else that you forgot all about me.
Don't get me wrong; I know that there are other people in your life that are very important to you. I know that you are also working really hard to pursue your dream of being a CEO and achieve financial freedom. I think those things are great, but what happens to me while you take on the world, what should I do?
We had a game plan of you starting a non-profit, it was harder to achieve than we thought but we did it, you managed to break positive ground. Then you decided to launch an online business, you are doing it, constantly working on building your brand. You have always been blessed to meet great people who give you lots of great advice. You even offer great advice to others on occasion; you would talk to me the same way, but not anymore. Now, if you do spend time with me all you do is criticize me about what I can do to be better. I get that you want me to succeed but sometime I just miss the old you when you would tell me how great I am.
I guess what I am saying is, please don't forget about me as your journey progresses. I have been the one who has always been there for you when no one has, I will be the one who will love you forever. Not to mention that your journey will be so much greater if you take the time to remain in touch with me and enjoy the time we share together. All I am saying is love me as much as you love others.
Always yours,
You

Hi, I LOVE IT, reminds me of that Brad Paisley song about writing a letter when he was younger to himself. Great idea, and reminder about what is important.
