Reached a place I do not want to be in.
Wealthy Affiliate has taught me so much. I have been working on one of my websites for almost a year now. The niche I choose is now a place where I don't feel I want to be. Hip Hop promotion on a website is very shady as I have learned. In the past couple of months I have been networking like crazy. I needed to create a fanbase to surround my idea. Its to the point now where im practically begging people for interviews, music submissions and no one is biting...which leaves me stuck asking myself is this what I wanted. Its taking up too much of my time trying to help others who don't really want to help themselves. Up and coming hip hop artists can be extremely ignorant when it comes to promoting and marketing themselves.
Don't get me wrong I will still continue to build niche sites but I think im going to stay out of the hip hop niche and focus on something way more productive. To be honest I just want to write reviews of products and make a living doing so. I just feel that this was a big waste of time...but quite the learning experience. Staying positive and moving forward.

Chalk it up to experience. Thomas Edison once said that he hadn't failed he'd just found 10,000 ways that didn't work. So congratulations on realizing that you've found something that didn't work and you can now move on to bigger and better things. ~Marion
Unfortunately SH** happens sometimes even if we have the best intent.
Behind the most successful business and businessmen there have been many less than successful projects.
It is now what you do about it that is the most important, Give Up and admit defeat or start afresh taking FULL advantage of everything that you have learnt from this into your NEXT project.
I know you will continue and that you will become successful because you are already thinking like a successful person. Take every advantage out of what you have already learnt and full steam ahead on to project No. 2
I want wish you success because you don't need it ; )

Thank you all for your kind words. I will never stop I love doing this as a hobby. I will continue to make niche sites and get better as time goes on. P.S. I haven't given up on my Hip Hop review site just yet...may take a different approach by just offering music reviews for now. What comes after that only time will tell.
