I have been at WA for a little over 3 months now. I find myself getting frustrated that I haven't accomplished more, but in all honesty, I haven't dedicated as much time as I should have. Life keeps getting in the way I guess you could say.

I also have a bad habit of getting ahead of myself....I see something someone has done on their site and think, "Why don't I have that?" And off I go....chasing my tail when I should be focusing on training. It's overwhelming sometimes. I check my inbox and see 20+ new messages. It's hard to focus with all these little distractions. I know most of them aren't distractions, but valuable information that will help me reach my goals....but like I said, I get overwhelmed and side-tracked.

I would like to say, thanks to all those who have helped me so far, to those who blog about all things WA and herd us newbies in the right direction. We seriously couldn't do it without you.

And now, Grasshopper, back to training.

I couldn't agree with you more, JaymeS2. I have to surmise we all get frustrated from time to time, I know I do. But it's those times I think of the goals I intend to achieve and that puts me back on track. You are not alone my friend.

Thanks. I just need to focus !!

You really have to make a list of specific goals you want to work on, and then tackle them at a pace that works for you.
When I started, I would make a note or bookmark something I found I may want to use later, then I could go back to it later. Focus on the priorities, you will find that as you learn and grow you site will as well, and will take on different appearances at times.
I love that quote by Steve, thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks Kim....I seem to remember us having a similar conversation before ????? I have some lists and bookmarks set up....just so much to learn. One step at a time, right?

Steve, I understand exactly what you are saying. Stay focused on your training and concentrate on your content of your pages when you are ready to write.
