As I am sure you are all aware of the recent mess going on with amazon a lot of people are switching over(Including myself) to a different system for our future links. I am just going to speak my mind about all this. I understand the why. But why is it that we have to rush this thing? I get it we want to make some money and what not but why swap all our links all at once for a long waiting period. (To give you the story I am going to rant a little if you guys could humor me please.) I understand about trying and moving out of this situation as fast as you can sure. But in the same light, It brings up an important thing no one talks about. The fact that there is a bit of a waiting period for you to work with these companies. I mean seriously. How is not brought up in the same conversation as on amazon and switching over to use different links. I only got one approval to use a set of links for my blogs So you can imagine how frustrating that is while in the same light hearing people going you gotta switch over super quick y'all. But yeah, This is just a small rant about everything going on. No hard feelings for anybody here. Just some air I wanted to air out. Let me know what your thoughts are with amazon being amazon and what you are doing against this curb.

For those that switch their links, what will you do when the pendulum swings the other way?

That was another big concern of mine as well. I think the best opsion for now is to use both when ever you can. You know exparament a little to see what works.

I have left mine as they are for now Victor. I wouldn't worry about it. As Mel says, you can still earn from them just much less. There are also other options too.
There are companies you can be an affiliate for without having to wait.
Good luck

Keep the amazon links. Work is already done and you can still make something from it.

Beside other Affiliate programs, what about drop shipping products?

Selling on Ebay?

Having paid advertising on your sites?

Selling locally produced unique products?

Create your own digital products?

and on and on it goes.

You are right. There are industry practices as well. These are moving targets that does not favor newbies. The application process have criteria that one needs to meet, often there is no communication on what these are. Now that there are more affiliates than the early days, these programs have a choice and using that to filter applicants.
