What are the benefits of pointing my domain to the WA server?
I find that the major benefit is the use of wordpress.org. Its a version available only through webhosting and more powerful than wordpress.com. The second plus is the WA support. Its pretty amazing. They state that they will fix a problem within 48 hours but it is usually less than two hours. The access to 2500 themes is a major plus. While other web hosting formats do offer themes, I haven't seen the variety before. Free security upgrade through WA to https is important other sites have significant charges for this.
Many of the other benefits such as chat, lessons and community expertise are available without transfering a site.
