What Not to Do As A Newbie!

Well, this being my very first blog, I wanted to share with all the new members out there, it's OK for the oldies to listen in as well, not to do what I have done in my first 3 weeks with WA.

I hope there is nothing wrong with you hearing, because there must be something wrong with my hearing!

Being over anxious to get my website up and running to promote WA, I somehow didn't hear Kyle's repeated reminders! I do remember though the first time Kyle had said... Make sure you follow the training lessons and complete the assigned tasks... they are there for a good reason... If you want to succeed with WA.

What I did instead, thinking that I knew enough after a few lessons in several categories, was to start spending too much time developing my site, instead of following the lesson plans to the end!

So, now that I have hit myself on the head several times to wake myself up and both my ears open, I am going to devote all my available time in the next few days to catch up on all my lessons.

The moral of my story is that I constantly found myself in situations that I had no solution for, simply because I was getting ahead myself! All those solutions had been coverd in the training lessons I had not followed! Why did I not show more discipline and follow Kyle's sincere instructions? I have a good reason... I was deaf... I am being nice to myself!

I know this now, but my valuable time could have been better used! Therefore, I urge you, all you wonderful Newbies, to at least give yourselves a chance by listening to and following all of Kyle's instructions regarding WA's training and lessons first and foremost! You will not regret it!

I remember a lifetime ago, when I first wanted to ski. I had never skied before and figured to myself that it can't be that difficult! I went on the snow, all jazzed up in a new ski outfit and tried! Well, to make a long and embarrassing story short, I ended up with a broken leg, arm, and a dislocated shoulder! All because I thought I knew better and didn't need the proper training to learn how to ski!

I hope my story will show a few members how to put their time to better use and not be too proud, like I was, thinking that it can't be that difficult! Not following our teachers' directions in WA, Kyle and Carson (and the WA Community's help) because we may think that can do it on our own, is WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

I am sure you won't like hearing this later on... I TOLD YOU SO!

I love being here at WA and want to learn as much as I can from anyone and everyone who is kind enough to share it with me... But don't I have to ask first???

My kindest regards to all...

Jay

Very good advice Jay; I'll be sure to follow it. I'm one of those who tend to get ahead of myself sometimes and have to have a knot jerked into me! LOL. Thanks for the great post!

No worry Beckie, we are all humans.

The secret is to know that and the fact that we also all have limitations in what we can do and what we need to learn how to do properly.

You and I, and many others, I am sure, are going through the same obstacles. The important thing is that we share our findings, so that we give the option of saving time and energy, if they choose to accept it.

I am sure you're in good hands with the many caring hands to catch and help within the WA community.

Thanks for your comment and I wish you eveerything you're seeking...

Jay

OMG.... I'm a ski instructor and your analogy is perfect. Sorry you had to learn the hard way about skiing without proper instructions, but it makes for a powerful life story and a perfect example for teaching us newbies about how best to use WA and all the tools and training. Thank you.

I had a ski instructor, but I took off at the wrong time and that was it!

Hello Ginger, thank you for your comment.

I appreciate your empathy on my skiing incident. I am slo glad to meet a daring ski instructor in the WA community. I am certain that you tons of such stories like mine to write a book about. Hey, not a bad idea!

Your profile tells a lot about you... To have a healthy mind, one must first have a healthy body to support it. Right? I am sure that we can all relate to this philosophy because, if nothing else, our physical pains and aches usually remind us that "... I am too tired to even think..", which is a common obstacle. An obstacle that prevents us from going back to the basics to do things right - because we are in no mood to do so!

Well, Ginger, I would like to, if I may, ask a favor of you... Would you kindly consider sharing one or a few, if you're that courageous ski instructor that you are, of those great experiences that have gone threough youself or have been a witness to.It will help all of us!

Okay, I cannot wait to read your many future blogs, Ginger.

You are, as I am, in the right place with WA and the wonderful Wa Community. I know we can make it! And, make it big!

Take care for now... Jay

Thanks for sharing your experience from the school of hard knocks, Jay. I can just about guarantee you that everyone who graces these webpages has knocked their heads against a doorjamb or two in our travels, and they won't be the first, or the last, as they say.... That is what makes the rewards that much sweeter, ay? ;)

Hello Jack, thank you for you comment.

I liked your profile and congratulate you on such an exciting life. I also liked to see you adorable friends with you.

You are right in that we have had our ups and downs in our journey toward our objective in life. The important thing, in my opinion, is the early realization that do we actually KNOW where we're going?

What some people say to themselves,,, "I know where I am going and I will send you a postcard when I get ther!" Well, that's all fine and dandy, But...! The "But" is where we get into trouble. The trouble being that we don't know the following importants remaining musts for our journey: 1) Why are we really on this journey; 2) How are we going to get there... mode of travel; 3) Are we going to be able to endure the journey to the end; 4) What are we going to do when we get to the end of our journey; 5) Who are we going to take along, if not alone, on this journey with us?

As you cans see, depending on what kind a journey you are on, it is not that clear cut! However, the good news is that YOU are in the driver's seat and control the car! So, ponder on the hypothetical points of the journey above, and you will see definitely see the lightbulb going on in your head. Happy days are ahead!

As for your niche, I would to ask you a fovor. would you go to your computer and pull up your own WA profike. Then ask yourself what you see do you see on that page beside youe own lovely self.

If I am confusing you, let me give you a hint... They have four legas and are fluffy and love to be held by the ones they love. Am I getting warm? That's right! You got it! Your beautiful dogs!

And, there lies your NICHE... Staring you in the face! Why not maximize on the passion that you already have... Your love for dogs! As Kyle so aptly puts it... Anything can be a niche, but why not something that you, yourself, are passionate about? All you have to dois narrow it down to specifics in order to be successful online, as Kyle elaborates.

So, keep up with your training, which is VITAL to your success, and the lack of it will cause ones failure as well! As I have found out, and I am sure you'll agree, WA if THE ONLY PLACE TO BE... If you are serious about becoming successful online.

Wow! I am exhausted. I bet you are too! sorry to force all this on you Jack, but you have everything for your success within your reach and with following through in your training WA training, YOU WILL MAKE IT!

I ask you to please read this comment of mine once. Then, come back the next day, and read it again. If it still doesn't make sense to you, leave it alone. But, readt it again! You see, you already know all this... it is that you may not have the lightbulb trunrd on yet!

I love to see you succedd my friend... Go for it!

I wish you patience for your beautiful WA journey... Jay

Jay thanks for the wake up call and putting me back in focus, direction. I just really like this network.Peace

Hi Duane,

Glad that my words hit home! Also thank you for your comment.

For the sake of not being redundant, would you do me a favor and read the few responses I wrote above for some other members. I think that you will find it beneficial. If, upon reading them, you have anyquestions or concerns, please let me know and I will take care of it for you... I hope I can!

The vert best to you... Jay

Wow.. this is touching Jay-B. I see kindness in you already. keep it up sharing is great cos it makes both you and the receiver happy. I will try to follow instructions. It's good you shared your personal experience with us in such a plain and interesting language. hey! you can really write. I wish you could teach me to write like that. Am really in love with your blog. thanks so much.

How are you doing ronyblog?

I sincerely appreciate the kind words, which I really don't deserve. I am glad though that my short story touched and brought to the surface those feelings in you that we all have in one way or another.

It is simply a matter of putting our fingers on and choosing amongst the many options we have in front of us in terms of doing this, doing that, or not doing anything at all!

the only thing that many of us don't know is that when we choose not to do anything about a situation that we may be faced with, then we wake up later on doen the road... And, guess what? It is too late! My point, my friend, is that you can do everything that I, or anybody else can do - whatever it may be.

You see, most of what you may term as a "talent" in people is usually a learned talent. not an inate one. Of course, there are always exceptions, but in general such talents can be accomplished by most people.

for example, you had mentioned that you would like to be to be taught how to write. Let me surprise you by telling you that you already CAN WRITE! Yoy wrote the comment above. didn't you? Seriously, what I mean is that you just have to learn to put yourself in place of the one who is reading your writing and then understand what their understanding of your writing is. If you can do this, or be objective, then you're almost there!

One way to quicken the process is to read other people's writings or, being fortunate to within the WA Community, other members' profiles and blogs. Once you do this, you WILL see and feel something come over you! This is when you're identifying with the write, because the writer is "connecting" with his/her reader. Now, all you have to do is dig deep into yourself - only a metaphor... dont do any damage toyourself - and find out why you are relating to what the writer is telling you in written form.

As Kyle, our all-wise teacher puts it, if you can master this art of connecting with your reader, or your audience at large for that matter, then you're on the home stretch and heading for your online success.

Mind you, I am still learning myself how to do this effectively. But it takes a lot of devotion and practice, practice, and still more practice. Just keep up with your WA training and you'll reach a point when you will say to yoursel "Mow I know what they are all talking about! It was right in front of me and I couldn't see it!"

Well, don't fee bad, I used to be right there, alomg with many other people, not too long a go! So, look yourself in the mirroe and make a commitment to start, I mean if you're serious, your task to become a successful communicator so that you can reap the fruits of you well-deserved hard work in large denomination green bills!!! YOU CAN!!!

If you are still with me, ronyblog (just joking!), then bear in mind that you have already taken the hardest step toward your upcoming success... You have joined WA! So, let Kyle and Carson mold you into the expert you can become by following their structured training. In addition, you halso have the advantage of the Wa Community with its many diverse and knowlegeable members who are just aching to help you!

Bottom line, if after all this you are still uncertain, then my friend you have to send me a PM so that I can REALLY talk to you! Are you scared yet!? Well, you know what I mean.

I am here to stay and you know how to find me.

I wish you a bright sunny days from now on.

All the best... Jay

Jay-B I almost did the very same thing, but managed to slow down and not get ahead of myself and stick to the training, we all have the tendency to jump ahead but are hurting our selves in the long run if we do.

Hello mdvs42,

I am sorry you had to go through it as well. I am also glad that you caught yourself before it was too late.

Look at it from the positive side... you now know what not to do!

You are so right, we have to stay healthy so that we can become wealthy! Right?

I ope you have great success with WA and its out-of-this-world Community.

Regards... Jay

Thanks for the information, I really needed this I tend to get ahead of myself and say get to the point I want to make money like yesterday but I will follow your advice.

Hi ccarde03,

Thank you for you comment. I am so glad that my experience was came at a timely occasion for you.

Just remember, WA is not a "Quick Money" program. I know for a fact that WA is offering us a fantastic opportunity to achieve our financial goal and success. However, we have to know: what we wnat; what we are willing to do to get it; can we endure till we get it?

If we are successful in the above steps, then we have to find out: HOW we can accomplish it; are we then be able to admit (to ourselves) that we don't know HOW and that we need help from someone who KNOWS better (who has been there-done that successfully) than we do; are we willing to follow their guidance to the letter?

Now, if you are still with me and have not given up, then you just MAY make it! IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU! YES! YOU!

I hope I didn't go overboard, but you sound like a young ambitious nice person, who deserves to know what not to do. I did it myself and paid the price. Why should you!

Thaks for listening. I am sure you will be quite successful... You're in the right place.

Take care... Jay

I got the message!

Hello Tanopenn, I am glad! I wish I had gotten it sooner.

The best... Jay

Like this posting a lot Jay.

You outline a very common problem.
So, don't feel you're alone with this one.

Also, it is good that you break the rules & try to figure your own way, that is how leaders learn. You can always (as you know), go back to the start & be a good lad & follow the rules.

At least you exercised your exploitative spirit - You now realize when you're about to sail over the edge & can return to begin again without too much bloodshed - All good!

d

Hello Damien Lane,

I apprecite your kind comments. It is always nice not to feel as if you are the only one out there who is getting out of line and making such elementarty errors - no matter how old or well-experienced you are. I have to consistently remind myself that I don't know a lot more than I do know... so that I can stay on track.

I suppose being mere humans, it is just human nature to toe the line, even when we are all grown up! And, you're right, at least we know our right place and how to get back there... hopefully, in one piece!

I really enjoyed your great comment... thank you!

My warm regards and the best success to you...

Jay

Great discussion. Thank you for humbly sharing. You are not alone. I started to do the same thing myself but stopped. I am going back over from square one and taking it piecemeal by piecemeal. Yet, we do need to be careful about paralysis by analysis.

Thank you Cjn1newid,
You know, many years a go when my father was alive, he told me "If you have something worthwhile, try to share it, or you will never know what you had!" I did not understand at the time what he meant, but I eventually did understand what he meant... after he had passed!
I am of the conviction that we, as human beings, have an oblogation to ourselves, if not to others as well, to share not only the positives, but also the negatives, so that we provide an option for those around us who may be blind (metaphorically speaking) or deaf... before it is too late for everyone!
It is my pleasure to have reached you - I wish you all the best...
Jay
