Facebook is a very well known and famous social network and media hub. Many families, friends, and working professionals have utilized this platform in order to connect, share, inform, educate, rant, rave and so on, and those are the more civilized behaviors found on the site.
Unfortunately, fairly, or unfairly, some people have gotten "zucked", banned, or had their accounts suspended, or even cancelled in some cases. The algorithm that the platform uses for content moderation seems to be glitchy, or faulty, depending on one's point of view, shutting down accounts that are illegal or fake, which is good, but also shutting down accounts which are innocent but unfairly and falsely accused of community standard violations. Perhaps someone just didn't like a post or comment, and wanted to complain and create some trouble just to get even. Or perhaps hackers have gotten into a account, and done something to create suspicion.
And it's not just Facebook. People have had similar issues on Instagram.

Whatever the reason is, and often will never be known, some people have been locked out of their various accounts and are looking for alternative platforms. I have provided a short list of apps and websites to consider and check out.
Here are a few alternative options for those who want to use social media in order to connect, share, link, help, and so on, alternatives that you can utilize in your social media outreach.
Perhaps the best one in my view is MeWe, which has about 16 million users. Other alternatives included Mastodon and Vero, and I am sure there are others as well. Alternatives to X, formerly known as Twitter, include Blue Sky, Threads, Discord, Reddit, etc.
Alternatives to Instagram include the following: Snapchat, 500px, Behance, Pinterest, Imgur, and Tumblr.
YouTube has competition as well, From TikTok to Rumble to Bitchute, to DailyMotion, etc. and so forth.
Happy hunting, or should that be, happy searching?
