A Run In The Sun
In the past, when I was in a certain mood, I would just write some poetry. For some reason, haven't written much of it lately. Maybe the creativity will return? By the way, no AI was used in this poem. It is totally me!
The time has come to make a change
On a mission of discovery
It's time to let go and move on
On a pathway to recovery
The little one inside of us
Is tired of the roller coaster blues
The little one inside of us
Affirms our not having to lose
I need an escape, a run in the sun
To destress with some awesome fun
No need to be under a gun
Just a escape and a survival run
Everyone has a treasured dream
Everyone has gone through a ton
Everyone has broken a wing
And sometimes courage has to sing!
Who is tired of whatever's forbidding?
We need a shift or else we're gone
Run in the sun, away for some space
Very soon to sing a new song.
