YouTube Channel Subscribers
Good morning everyone.
This past week have not been active that much on WA platform interacting with other members.
Instead I have been working on my websites. When I published my Travel Blog a year ago, firstly stuck with writing content and publishing a blog post everyday.
I always use Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumbler, and Twitter for social media advertising.
About 2 months ago, decided to follow the YouTube Training and created a channel. Have a few videos in my channel, and checking my YouTube channel this morning I have 300 subscribers now.
Top it off the video I published yesterday, already has 639 views. I know this is not many subscribers to some bigger affiliates. This is great news to me and shows me I am doing something right.
I blogged about my Trip to Tombstone Arizona here at WA but only shared couple images. When I published full detailed blog post on my website, created this YouTube Video to share my pictures taken on the trip.
So, when it comes to travel niches, does people really look to see if you actually been to these places or not. Curious, I am going to being working on another video today with John Wayne History, and his museum where I have 126 pictures to choose from and share.
This here alone is big success to me and am excited about my subscribers.

To answer your question, do people look to see if youāve actually been to the places- I would think the answer would be yes. That is unless the author focused on planning for the trip(s).
My question is how much do people care how recent the trip was. I feel like some of my travel experiences have already become too dated.

When it comes to travel, I look at YT videos that are sometimes older because they share about the history.
Also, I can appreciate how the place has progressed - or not.

Didn't know for sure about this particular visit, as was during the pandemic and why not many people in the pictures. That is why I put personal visit date in the blog post.

I love how you step out of your comfort zone to try new things.
My take on travel blogs is you do not have to have visited all the places you write about. As long as you provide information helpful for the person searching.
Naturally, if youāve been to those places you can give it the personal touch.
Iāve started writing about travel in my personal website. Iām writing about places I last visited when I was a kid. Things have changed a lot so I provide a then and now perspective to add depth even though Iāve not visited those places since.
You have a great thing going for you that draws on your personal experience as a truck driver.
I just got an idea writing this. In my MMO website Iāve got a category devoted to individuals in jobs who could start a side hustle in affiliate marketing. Truck driver will be added to my list, inspired by you.

Yes, your route you took over holidays with the Grandkids. I just found all my pictures taken yesterday on my camera card, thinking about sharing them in a video for travelers looking for road trips.
I have photos for every season, as every time and the different seasons things look different but still beautiful.
