Trying to stay on my path to success
So here it is. I was doing so well with my weekly goals of one blog post per website each week. Last week I feel a bit short aith only one blog post on one of the teo sites.
Life got in the way
Yes it got in the way. I just started teaching twice a week so prep work for that takes time. And we had our air conditioner break, and it was my birthday. Two out of the three were good news, but I feel a bit disappointed in missing my goals.
I missed the mark in the additional post, but I did run a birthday sale that helped to generate sales. So even though I missed a weekly post I generated income.
We are all human
Its true we are all human and sometimes we go end up off course. The crosswinds of life threw me off my course, but there was still progress forward. In reflecting about the week I see that I could have done both the post and the sale, but it was a beneficial week.
The more we share the more we help
The best blessing out there for me is hearing how I have helped to impact someones life for the better. It doesnt matter how I did it, just that I encouraged them in a positive way.
That is one of the reasons why Wealthy Affiliate is so amazing. The sharing and uplifting by everyone here can help us on those not so bright days. Not everyday is going to be filled with rainbows and unicorns. Its a matter of how we make lemonade from the lemons we received.
Thank you for being you
Thank you for reading, Thank you for sharing, Thank you for feedback. Thank you for being with me on this journey. We all need someone in our corner and I Thank you.

Hey we all get side tracked sometimes.
Life wouldn't be life without distractions.
You should be commended for regaining focused.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
I wish you all the best on your journey to success
Life events always gets us sidetracked. Its ok. It happens to all of us. I am having a serious major life event, been in the hospital for a week with A-Fib issues. I was hoping to get home today but looks like its not going to happen. Most of my work is on my laptop that I just finished repairing before my A-Fib attack. It took the Drs 6 days to get this under control, they need to up the dose to help stabilize my fast heart rate. You can only do what you can. Just do your best like you said in this post. Eventually, it all will come together. Keep at it.
Brenda wow, thankfully they were able to stabilize everything. Heart issues are nothing to mess around. My mother had 2 heart valve transplants. The first 23 years ago. Prayers that you feel back to yourself soon.
Hi Jane
It's OK to get off track. It happens and like you said life happens.
Keep up the great work!
Wanda
Jane,
No worries, it does indeed happen to many of us and in fact it is better than feeling overwhelmed or burnt out.
There are many ways for you to reach your goals and some may appear more time sensitive than others
Do not hesitate and ask for help.
Blessings!
Life sure happens! But you're still on the road, right? So put it in low gear, and keep on truckin'!

WA helps out so much for those times when life gets in the way. We can put pressure on ourselves to achieve a certain goal. If it doesn’t happen, it is great to know that you are not alone! Everyone is great sharing their experiences.
