I've been thinking about leaving WA for a while now. I find that to post as frequently as I should requires much more time than I really have to give. I just found out tho' that I have one product review that is is #6 on page 1 and a post that is on page 3, pretty far down, but still . . . Maybe I'll stick with it a while longer.

Hey Jan

I am sorry to see you have been thinking of leaving WA.

I see you have only been a member here since January - if you only launched your site, at that time, its not nearly enough time for you to have all pages ranking well - it takes time.

Also, you do not have to be a prolific writer, even if you write 2 articles a month, you will be adding 24 posts over a year, which is fine, as long as the content is great.

Better to have great content that people read and like and share, rather than writing for the sake of trying to get many pages in the search engines, that have no engagement, and will fall away.

Just remember, that when you start earning well from your site, that the income is going to be ongoing so its always best to look at the long term.

Something else you can do is outsource your writing - this can be done very cheaply at textbroker or iwriter - just give an outline of what you would like the article to be about, and then when you get it back edit it to put your own personality into the writing - this can be done very quickly.

I am pleased to see that your rankings have made you reconsider your decision, but I urge you to be patient, and you will reap the rewards.

Wishing you continued success

Regards

Paul

I have struggled to post as much I would like. I now make rough drafts when stuff comes to mind and before I know it, I have a post.
I currently have about 5 potential posts as rough drafts using this method.

That's great! Glad to hear you might stick around longer

Like most your here to create an online business. Learn what you can, build your site, the interaction in WA is also part of your preparations for blogging on your own site.

I'm sure most people here understand there is only so much time in the day and we all have life's for other jobs, family etc.

You do whats best for you. Pop in and out as you see fit. It's your time!

Thanks to all who have responded so positively. You are all awsome!

Hope you will stay. Look at what you have already accomplished.

Would be sorry to see you go , but you have to decide yourself, however your doing so well. So stay :)

Hi Jan, Lets do this together. I have been premium for about 2 wks but as yet have done nothing as don't seem to have the time. I was wavering like you too. I work 2 days a wk and just lately have been pretty busy. Tonight is the 1st night that I have a wee bit of time and I have started going over the beginners course again (I did manage to watch the videos for the 1st 10 lessons) and it's amazing what I have picked up the 2nd time around.. It took me ages to find a niche and after deleting 2 websites have finally found something. Am just starting to go through things very slowly so if you want to do this with me and we can do it together lets do it!!! We can do it!!

Hey there!

There is no rule on how much you need to post. If you can only post once a week or once every two weeks you can still be successful its more of realizing that it can take longer for you to start to see results. Congrats on your rankings for your reviews starting to climb though but don't ever think you don't have enough time.

An hour a week can still add up in the long run and just imagine where your site could be a year from now. While it can be demotivating to not see results, your rankings are def the first step there.

I hope you decide to stick with it and if you ever need any help, cheerleading, or anything along those lines feel free to holler. My pms are always open

Jean

Amen wa sister!

Thank you for altering my perspective. I guess every little bit does add up. I have a habit of always second guessing myself so not doing that will have to be a new resolution.

Don't give up!! We are all here to help you and support you. I know how you feel but with perseverance & diligence you can do this!!! Hugs

Thanks so much! The support here at WA from all you wonderful people is honestly the only thing keeping me going. I'm really not one much for social media, but the community here is awesome!

Thanks again!

Jan
