I've joint an affiliate program via ShareASale, I'm trying to do product reviews and product features. I have contacted them and asked if I could just download

Each company that you become an affiliate of will have their own rules and regulations. When you sign up, it is your responsibility to learn and abide by their rules.
Because of this, I always make sure that when in doubt I contact the business' affiliate tech support staff to ask any and all technical questions so that I receive accurate information, and I keep any written (emailed, of course) permissions that I do receive.
Having said all of that, I recommend that if you have already read through their rules and regulations that you reach out to the ShareASale affiliate support staff and ask them.
