This feels awkward
I began WA a month ago, and I've been slowly working through the lessons. The end of lesson two asks to post a blog, but I will confess that this feels incredibly awkward to me.
I have created a website with my own domain, and it doesn't look terrible, although it could definitely use some more work. There are not many articles up, but I have an Evernote file that has a host of brainstorming ideas based on keywords + things that interest me.
I'm not quite sure of my goals website-wise yet. I'm still pondering that. I'm going with the philosophy that every step, however small is moving me forward.

My advice is to choose something you are passionate about or knowledgeable about and concentrate on just that niche. You'll spread yourself too thin otherwise. Also, choosing something you know and like makes the blogging experience much more enjoyable.
I suggest you take the time with the learning curve, remember this is a long term project, your goal is to focus your mind and just work to create content that targets the perfect crowd your site will draw the kind of people that you are looking for.
