Busy Week and Working Hard to find the Time to be Here!

Hey Wealthy Affiliate Friends!

With the upsurge of Covid 19 here in Melbourne, I've been dragged away from my computer and into more work! I love all the opportunities I've got, but I'm starting to realise how much I appreciate being here!

Yet... this is not an excuse for not moving as far as I would have liked... it is showing up and acknowledging the decisions I've made.

Finding Balance

I can see so many others working to find that right balance, and realising that our schedules need to be flexible to adjust to what life presents. Thank you for all of the words of wisdom as they are truly sustaining!

One thing at a time

One of the best things I've learnt over the last couple of weeks is to not spread myself too thin. As I've honed in on the work at hand, everything is more "manageable" this time around. Even if I make one small step forward, I can see progression, and acknowledge that something was created or learnt.

Sharing what I've learnt this week...

Last weekend, I gave myself the goal of getting my head around Google Analytics, by looking at the training provided here (including reviewing what Kyle shares early in the training), and also went through some of the Analytics Academy as well. For some reason the whole idea of setting this up, and understanding it, seemed a little too much for my brain!

I had made it more difficult for myself by not being sure if I wanted to use All in One or Yoast. I also seemed to want to "understand" it all. Whether this is "right" or "wrong", (because I realise I didn't need to understand everything to move forward), I accepted where I was and kept on following my own questions.

To help me, I broke it down into baby steps, and repeatedly looked through the training, taking tiny action steps. I know I will want to look through it again, but have managed to move forward.

What will next week bring?

I'm not sure of everything else, but I'm pretty confident I'll be past the Google Analytics diversion enough to be moving forward with researching and writing.

Hahaha... what the? Let's try that again...
