Another Progress Report

Hello to this wonderful Wealthy Affiliate Community. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

I would like to provide an update on my progress at WA. I have been here for a little over three months now (106 days to be exact). I have learned so much, that I don’t even know where to begin.

At this time, I am still trying to catch up. I fell behind over the Thanksgiving holiday because I had family members visiting from abroad, out of state and out of town. There were days when I did not get a chance to turn on the computer, and when I got a chance to do so, I did not get to do much. I am not complaining because we had a great time, and if I had to do it again, I would. Spending time with family is very important.

However, despite the busyness, I took advantage of the Great Black Friday Special, and signed up for the year. I could not have missed that opportunity.

Anyways, I am still loving the training, and still moving slowly through it. I really want to lay a solid foundation for my online business. If things had gone as planned. I would have finished the “Online Entrepreneur Certification” course, and would have been working on the “Affiliate Bootcamp.” However, I am still pressing toward the goals, and some sweet day, I will get there.

My website is about teaching kids to read at an early age.

Somethings I have learned

I have learned a great deal, and it would be hard to list them all, so I will mention some. So far, I have learned a great deal about Affiliate Marketing. I have learned how to build a website, and with the help of the community, I learned how to make it beautiful by using “Featured image.”

I have learned a lot about using social media. I am not a big fan of Social Media, and did not visit them very often. However, that has changed and I am learning that they can help to promote your business if they are used correctly.

I have learned how to add Social Media Buttons to my website, and that has made it so much easier for me to share my post on Social Media. I read that you should not copy and paste on Facebook, so initially, I was typing the information on my Facebook page, and it was taking a long time. Using the “Share,” button, has made it so much easier.

Questions For You

Apart from using Social Media and engaging there, what else should I be doing to get traffic? Should I be using paid traffic at this time, if not when should I consider doing so?

Feeling Encouraged

Even though I am not getting the traffic that I expected, I am doing better in other areas. So far, I have 12 Google Indexed and 9 of those have been ranked. Feel free to checked my website and verify. You can let me know if you see something different. No sales yet, but when I start doing better in the traffic area, I am expecting to start making some sales.

I am an Amazon associate, and I am using Google Adsense. I am following the Training, so I am sharing my content on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

My Plans And Goals In The Upcoming 3 Months

I plan to complete the “Online Entrepreneur Certification,” update my posts that are not yet ranked in Google, then start “Affiliate Bootcamp.” I have already learned a lot about Affiliate Marketing and building a successful online business, and I want to continue with the training to learn more.

My Plans And Goals In The Upcoming 6 Months

In the upcoming six months, I am expecting to complete “Affiliate Bootcamp,” and start working on another website that I have been thinking about. Right now, my goal is to build three websites, and I am working toward building a solid online business with them.

In the meantime, I will continue working on catching up and moving forward with the Training.
