Social Signals
Before I start this post, I would just like to say that it has only been 2 months in WA for me. I learned how to create a website 2 months ago so if I said thing that are wrong. Please correct me. I would just like to share something that I found out after experimenting on my website.
Google said that social signal is not a ranking factor, maybe they are right but I did an experiment on two of my article about indexing in Google
As we all know, the first 6 months in WA hurts a lot. We work but our articles don't get indexed a lot and I feel that Google hates my website for being new. My average rankings on keywords based on Webmaster tools is rank 74.
On my main website, I have no article that is in the first page at all so I am looking for ways for google to notice my website.
My Experiment
My experiment is that I made two articles (They are not identical, I know that it makes my experiment sort off invalid, but I don't want any penalties for duplicate content issues.)
One article is shared on various social media that I've found and the other article is not shared at all.
What Happened
As a website that is only 1 and half month old back then, the article that got multiple social media signals got indexed in just a few hours.
The article without any social signals was not indexed even in the 5 day mark. Which I was forced to manually add it via search console.
My Conclusion
Social signals help Google notice my website, and I think I am going to continue sharing my posts in social media once per day ( To avoid Spam )

Once again, I am just 2 months in WA, which means that I still need to learn a lot more. I am by no means an expert. Not unlike the people who have been in this venture for years.
Currently, I get like 3-10 organic visitors each day (Max is 17). So my organic website visitors is slowly increasing. But I think that social signals really helped my website especially for the one who is starting out.

I am moving to Ukraine and vk is like our facebook in Eastern Europe and Russia. They get away with alot more for sure.
