What Does Success Look Like for YOU?
What does success look like for YOU, here at Wealthy Affiliate?
Is it tied to income, fame and recognition, community building, or pushing your limits? The creation of valuable content that moves the needle forward? Perhaps something else?
When I joined WA a few months back, I was honored to be entering such a vibrant community of current and aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders. Yet I admit I was a bit overwhelmed (and still am at times!) by the scope of what's out there, and the long, sometimes arduous pathway to success. I didn't exactly have a "success plan" in mind, and even a few months in, that "plan" wavers from time to time, as well as my level of commitment.
But here's what hasn't changed...
Success for you is likely different than success would look like for me. It'll look different for you than that of your friends, significant others, colleagues, and family. And you know what? That's how it should be! We live in a world of hardship, inequity, fear, and loss in many ways. At the same time, we're fortunate to be a part of a world filled with opportunity, hope, and countless examples of greatness. Among several things, one way I work to provide professional and career insight, strategies, and resources, is to continue to promote the attainment of success for others. It's a hard concept to measure (and some days are much tougher than others!), but it's the FEELING that comes with providing value, that makes it intrinsically rewarding. Gradually and then suddenly in both my time here at WA, as well as life in general, I've realized that one doesn't have to have it all "figured out", to be the best version of themselves today and provide value to those in need. That journey for others is what hasn't changed--that journey is what success is all about for me.
How about you? What does success look like for YOU? Whatever it is, work to discover it. Work to kindle it. Work to set it afire and share it with the world. Because that's the world needs, the best that you have to offer.
Thank you WA and go be successful!

Well said Jabril. Success to me is the freedom to choose how i spend my time and being able to do that on my own terms. I want my family to have the same choice. And a "successful" business has given that to me to a certain degree.
@Eddy well said! Yes, that's an excellent rapport you have with what success and freedom mean to you, and I know you'll continue to achieve that going forward. Thanks for reading!
