Why not be excellent.?
Do you speak the language of excellence? I believe the choice to be excellent - to push from adequate to extraordinary - begins with aligning your thoughts and words with the intention to require more from yourself.
You can either look at the weights all day...or you can push yourself beyond your (often) self imposed limits. More on this in another post. I often hear people say, "I'll be OK if I can just make to the end of the day...week...month." Is that all that they want for themselves - to "make it?" When you make such a declaration, you may in fact get by, but that may be all that you will get if left to chance and little action.
Leadership in action requires that you make an example of yourself to those around you. Leadership in thought and action has allowed many to press for change when it was desperately needed. Everyone wants the best out of life...not everyone is willing to do what is required. Yeah, they are still looking at the weights wondering how in the world does that work!?
Why NOT do more than survive? Why NOT excel? Every time you state what you want or believe, you are the FIRST to hear it. It is a message to both yourself and others about what you think is possible. Do not make the mistake of having goals only to put a ceiling on yourself!

Being the best version of ourselves takes constant work. But once your there...good stuff starts to happen.

yes, I m happy that you got that point as many believe that to achieve a dream it doesn't cost!
the dream is a Vision but to obtain that vision/dream we have to work on it and invest Time, energy and Money! so why don't invest directly to the Big Dream? that's the point!

I have to say I was told by a 26 year old girl that "It doesn't have to be perfect, only done". This statement was pertaining to cleanliness and the food service industry. It puzzles me to this day, obviously!
