So I've been away for a little bit. I am on vacation, and my access to the Internet is limited. It has been nice, but at the same time I have missed blogging, and intereacting with the community here on WA. I will be out of the loop for the most part for the next few days, but i have been thinking about posts to write, and preparing myself for when I can get back in the game.
The day before I left for vacation I got an email from someone who stumbled upon my blog (I blog about comic books). He said he liked my site, referencing a few specific posts, and sent me a few issues of his own comic to look at, and possibly review.
And he wants to send me more!
I think this is cool. Sure, it's just one person, but the fact that he found my site, and then liked what I had to say enough to send me some of his own work fills me with warm jolly fuzzies because it validates what I've been doing and makes me feel as if I am doing something right.
So, I look forward to reading and reviewing his comics, and generally getting back to the semi-daily grind of blogging.
