Hey guys
I just finished the getting started course and just started to build my website now I'm trying to put an image link with html code on a post because I wanted to

you would have to go into the editor function under the appearance tab and place the code where you want it on your site
It looks a little bit complicated basically the page body is separated in three section right?. the header the div and the footer. I want to put my image on the div because its the middle part of the page but there is no div so I don't really no where to put it
Yeah I know what ya mean...I did mine by trial and error ....I'm sure more of the more advanced people in Wa will be able to help out
One thing I wish WordPress did that I don't believe is possible without editing the code... is to really add widgets and custom html wherever you want on the site... if I wanted to put ad code or something in the header area, I would need to manually figure out where to paste the code in the editor, since it's not possible to edit the header area except simply adding an image in.
I had to manually edit the code to make my header image clickable to another website.
Yeah its not easy to understand and can be confusing if you don't get it right.
but I did some research on YouTube and there was a video from
Eli the Computer Guy called Introduction to HTML Programming, that helped me a lot at least to find my self in all the coding.
