One Week In And Already Doubting - But Lets Keep Working
It has only been a week that I signed up for WA Premium and I am following the training. Yes, I love it. However, I am really struggeling to find my "Passion", "My Niche".
For me it is easy to follow the trainings as they give you all the clicks and steps to click here and set up something there. But what they forget to mention is on how to find your content.
In my first excitement of this new project, I chose a niche and I chose a domain name and set up my website. I followed the training and all the steps - and I already failed at the "About Me" Section.
Why am I doing this? Well, hm... to make money.
What is the goal of my website? Well, hm... to make money.
My Story? ... where should I start?? :)
These are obviously not the kind of things I want to publish on my website. I want to provide value. I want to help people. I want to support them and make them grow. I want to provide experiences and connect people. But how? How the f*!&@ is that supposed to work online?
I did write my About Me Section anyhow somehow and moved on with the training. When I reached the first "Content Is King" Training I was devastated: I researched Keywords and all the Keywords that came to my mind where too brought, too wide, too many search hits, or just not really hitting the nail on the head. I just could not wrap my head around on what I want to write.
I realize now that this training is not only about how to become an Affiliate Marketer - It is about discovering what I am passionate about and how I can help people? Its a whole lot of damn inner work.
I discovered a new challenge: I dont read blogs at all becaues I find them time consuming and dont enjoy reading long articles. So, that totally hinders me from even writing my own articles and more so starting my own Blog.
I reached out to my Coach Nathanial and he wrote me a lovely message back encouraing me to continue. He explained to me that I dont have to be an expert yet to write about a certain toopic - but I need to be willing to become one.
His message absolutely encouraged me to move forward. Now I have a new website, a new domain and a new niche. I am not willing to give up yet. I will stay with what I learned: PROVIDING VALUE.
I am a true believer that providing value is the key to making money. But noone here in WA can tell me what my value is. As a matter of fact, noone can tell you your value. I have to discover that by myself. And thats the new mission I am on: Discovering and recognizing that I bring value to the world - and then I will share this value - and then I am positive that I will see success in my journey and in my bank account.
My journey on Wealthy Affiliate is not only about learning how to become an Affiliate Marketer. It is much more: It is about discovering what I am passionate about and finding a way to express it to the world in a healthy way that helps my audience as well as my wallet.
... The journey continues.

A week is nothing. Better two weeks, three weeks, a month to make the right decision about your passion... the right decision about your domain name etc... no rush.. its not a race but a journey. Took me a little time to realise this and whilst I still have to remind myself sometimes (especially now when everyone is saying nows the time to get ahead... I am consumed by a difficulty to concentrate) so take your time... you will find the perfect niche, probably something you never really thought about before !
It's ok. Just keep working. Make a list of things that you have interest in. Go through Jaaxy to see what key words you find. Check out other sites within that niche to see what others have done. You'll find inspiration!!! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! Christine
Wish you all the best in future with WA! As for the content and keywords ideas, you can use the Alphabet Soup technique, it'll most certainly give you lots of ideas to write about. :)))
Great post, Isabella! You'll do well here! Have a safe weekend, my friend!
