You may want to check again or perhaps try a different browser see if you get a different result:

Kyle's resource works :)

Which code did you add? Can you remove and redo those same steps in case you missed something? It's very easy to miss something when adding coade, we have all done it at one time or another...grin.

Try that and see if that helps!

Rudy

I added this code just like the in the video:

.single .featured-image {
display: none !important;
}

I even deleted it and did all the steps again, indeed thinking maybe I missed something? . but the problem still remains.

I suggest sending a ticket to site support. They can check tiur site to learn what is going on.

Even with the free version, there should not be two image showing on the published page.

Ok, try this. Clear yiur cache through website manager>>your website >>details (lower right corner)

Then-Log out of tiur website and go offline.
This will clear browser.

Log back into WA, and return to the website manager, find tour website and log in.

View your blog archive amd check your image.

Do you see one or two?

If that doesn't work, submit the ticket ro site support!

That's all I got for you right now!

Rudy

Check the customizer section located under Appearance, on the left hand column your WordPress dashboard.

Click Appearance>>Customize>>Layout>>Blog.

Here you wills e the page options for both the page and post pages.

Scroll down to where it says 'featured image' and either check or uncheck the box that says 'show featured image'. Publish and check your work.

If the image is gone, whatever you did fixed it!

Rudy

I tried, but I can only see this( i attached the picture)

Oh, you are using the free version of GeneratePress...

That option isn't available in the free version.

Let me check something and I will be right back.

Rudy

I wasn't getting a duplicate image, I added a test post with a featured image and only one image appeared.

Hi

No you would not.

If you decide to downgrade at a later time, you would go back to the plan you had before.

But as long as you do not discontinue.

If I try p plus do I lose my grandfathered in premium?
