What Changed With The Challenge + March & April Update
Hello, WA, Family!
I'll begin by saying that in the last 2 months, so many things happened. One of them is COVID-19 (Corona Virus) so, please stay safe and healthy!
Now, I decided to update every 2 months (combine 2 months in one post) at least for now since I don't have time to focus on "updating my journey here often" (I know, it's hard to believe it but its the truth)
I have so many things to explain that I don't know how/where to begin. I'll do my best to cover everything in this post.
First of all, I decided to somewhat change the 500 post-challenge, because I don't think I'll make it (at least this year) for a few reasons. (And yes. One of them is due to the problem with my ear that doesn't "help" when it comes to focusing/writing a post or working in general)
So, what changed?
Instead of writing 500 posts this year, I changed to "write 500 posts until the end of 2021." This decision came after hours and hours of thinking about this, but yeah, this is what I did.
I'm so far behind from accomplishing this challenge, Heck, I'm not even 20% done yet.
So, In a few words, my goal is to have 500 (total post of my website) until the end of 2021.
Remember, I'm not giving up, I'm adapting according to the situations (at least this is how I think of it)
So, there you have it. This is what "changed' with the 500 post-challenge!
I Completed Almost Every page and Emails for my sequence.
If you remember the previous update, you'll see what I wanted to create (pages, emails, posts, etc.)
After "testing" a few things, I realized that spending a few hours per day to finish them was so time-consuming and remember, I wanted to focus only on creating content.
So, what I did was to create everything that I needed to so that I could focus on creating posts later on.
Honestly? I didn't expect to finish all the pages and ALMOST all of the e-mails (for my sequence), but I did. The only page that I'll finish later (I need to create a few posts first) is the resource page.
Oh, I almost forgot! I tested at least 50 different pop-ups until I found one that converts at 1.5-2.5% (it depends on the day), but yeah, I'm very happy to see my list growing day after day, but mostly I can't wait to deliver them value and help them (show them) how to create an online business! (Not only about WA)
Last But Not Least
I decided to somewhat change the "content" that I'm writing. It will still remain "product review" but for different platforms. I'm tired of "just finding the scams," and Instead, I want to review legit platforms, find the best affiliate offers, and the best platforms for my readers.
I usually have some criteria to "choose" a platform that's the best for my readers.
1) The product/services. I want to see how that platform/product can help (my readers) and if it's worth it spending money to use it. (Funnel Builders, E-mail Marketing Platforms just to name a few)
2) Price. It doesn't matter if the platform is a bit expensive, but I want to compare the price vs. the value that the platform will give to you (my readers again)
3) Long term vs. Short term. If it's something that you'll need for a long time and vise versa.
After this story (and DAYS of thinking it and planning) let me show you the last two months (March & April)
Remember, I only "count" the organic traffic.
March
April
As you can see, my traffic doubled (actually more than double but yeah...), and I'm not sure if this is due to the coronavirus or because a few posts ranked after a few months (it takes time, and we have to accept that) But, yeah... I can't believe that I hit 5 figures (in terms of traffic).
500 POST CHALLENGE
January - 6
February - 5
March - 9
April - 5
Total posts - 11
Post to complete the challenge - 475
I guess that's all for now! If you have any questions about my journey or something that I probably didn't explain well enough, feel free to ask in the comment section.
By the way! Did your business grew (in traffic) since the corona-virus started (and basically when quarantine took place)

Good effort loannis. Reviewing plans and re aligning things so they work is always a good idea.
Michael.
You've got a very nice start, so do what you can to keep that traffic building. Keep up the good work.
